Omg those are so cute/cool!! And a small one like that would be perfect for me bc I can keep it in my blanket fort with other things that make me happy! It's like my docking station, lol. Good job! No glue blobs, that's one of my problems

No worries! I sent you a message on here, but you might not have gotten it. So what kits have you made? Those really intricate ones look super fun, I saw one that was an old apothecary that really intrigued me. I'm just drawn to that time period in general.

I am rubbing my hands together in Holmesian delight!! How fun!

Perfect - I was just going to restart the canon all over again! This will be fun! And no trading is necessary, I'm just happy to make a new friend. Do you want me to tell you the story I pick, or do you want to be completely surprised?

That would be so cool!!! I would love that!

I put them in a box with some bubble wrap or wadded up newspaper and send them in the regular mail. I've sent them to Europe and Australia, even. It's safest to message me your address tho. And I would be flattered if you showed it off! I'm a new member of the Norwegian Explorers 😊

Thank you so much! Making these boxes keeps me sane, so I give them away or trade them. If you have a favorite Holmes story or know someone who does, just let me know!

Oh how fun to meet a fellow miniature enthusiast! Some of those kits are SO COOL. Thanks for the kind words! Let me know if you want a story. And don't worry if you're on the other side of the world somewhere, I like rehoming them in exotic new locales!

Thank you for just existing! Best, most wholesome bot ever! 😁🤘🤘

Oh - the bottom will be the murder scene at Pondicherry Lodge. I couldn't resist the opportunity to make laboratory equipment 😋

Also, everyone always asks about money, but "I play the game for the game's own sake." 😁 I don't accept money, but I will accept a trade - only if you feel so inclined. If you have a hobby or a passion, I'd rather have something that speaks to who you are over fiscal rewards!

I'm so glad you like it!! This was only the 2nd time I've ever made a human figure, so it's not perfect, lol, but I wanted it to look like he is looking up, waiting for Watson to climb over the fence and let him in. I really wanted to put that detail in! If you msg me your address I can send it Fri!

Thank you so much! If you're a fellow Holmes fan, I'd be happy to make one for you! I don't accept money for them (everyone asks), but I do accept trades if you have a hobby or favorite past time. I'm making one based on a music album atm, so we'll see how that goes...

Sure thing! I'm finishing up the Bruce-Partington Plans for someone else and you'll be next! Always good to meet another Holmes fan! 😊

I pack them in a box with wadded up newspaper, bubble wrap, whatever padding I can find, and just send them in the mail! They've fared pretty well so far.

I think I'm going with the Sign of Four. I've started working with epoxy resin and have been wanting to make a scene w the boat chase down the Thames at the end. Since you had the idea, I feel like the box should go to you, if you want it. I always give them away. 😊

Ya, he's in a bad way. Have you ever ridden the Underground in London? There is a recording that tells you to "plz mind the gap..." when the doors open. This dude clearly didn't mind the gap!

The pleasure is all mine! I love meeting other fans, and making these boxes is def therapeutic for me. I was made for different times. Your box is a fun challenge bc I'm making all kinds of new things - the bust, a gramophone, and I'm actually taking a crack at Holmes's violin!

It's yours!! Yay! I'm about halfway through, so I'll let you know when I'm done! 🤘🪩❤️

I used to glue the whole scene down, but now I'm designing them more like dollhouses for specific scenes from the stories. Like a diorama that ppl can set up themselves, and they have to read the story if they want to set it up "correctly."

Thank you!! It's yours if you want it! No one has claimed this box yet, and it sounds like it would find a loving home with you! 😊 I don't take money for them, so don't worry about that part. And I'm using a fun new interactive design I'm excited to roll out!

Hell ya, that would be great! What is your hobby - are you also into miniatures?
comment in response to post
I make them and give them away 😊 Before I got on Bluesky I would leave them in bookstores and coffee shops etc, but now most of them I give to ppl I meet here, which is more fun anyway! Sometimes ppl trade me for something they've made, but it's not necessary.

Ha!! I love that part, too - so funny. I think the relationship between Sherlock and Mycroft is rather adorable, and I fantasize about a real life Diogenes Club bc it sounds perfect to me, lol. Okie dokie, your box will be next after this one!

The tiny things matter. If each of us do the tiny things, we're all working towards doing the really big thing.
