Im with on pulling the goalie earlier, but pulling the goalie on a power play means you leave an empty net with no downside for the defending team chucking it down the ice, since a short handed team can’t have icing called against them.

What if you were leading by 2 goals with less than 2 min to go?

Watching some post match commentary, and they were talking about how at one time Rory was 7 back of Rose after round 1. At some point today he head 7 ahead of Rose - there was a 14 shot swing, that then got back to zero by hole 72.

Feel like that’s most golfers though? Everyone is rooting for Tiger, Jack, and (post 2005) Phil.

*the best available punter
comment in response to post
that’s fair. But counterpoint, you may not get a punter in the 4th round

Except all positions aren’t created equal in their contributions to the team. A center needs to play at an all-pro level to contribute as much as a slightly above average left tackle. And a position like RB for example- has under 30 year Hall of Fame level talent available in Free agency.

Maybe this year our offense will Have film sessions?

Apparently his advanced metrics at OSU were fantastic in regards to accuracy, which is why his time with the Bears was confusing as he seemingly over night got way worse at a skill.

Fuck yeah. Let’s fucking go.

Every time they ask him a question, it sounds exactly when someone asks me a question on work conference call with my camera off browsing stat muse.

For sure. But I mean in real time that play was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It speaks more to the absurdity of the rules - 50 year guys standing next to chains have to decide where a ball was in a pile of 300 pound bodies from 60 Feet away.
comment in response to post
Maybe? No guarantee they score. Even if we give them 7, the Chiefs are probably scoring if they’re down 4 with the ball and 2 min left.
comment in response to post
Bills had the ball down 3 with all 3 timeouts, with 3 left and couldn’t get it done. I’d have more sympathy for them if they didn’t completely fall apart at that moment.
comment in response to post
I don’t disagree. Bills blew the game on their own. They had the ball w/ 3 min left, down 3 + a chance to win the game with a TD. Kinda shit the bed at midfield. Had 2 chances to stop the chiefs and get the ball back with long shot punchers chance opportunity to win, + could never make a play.

I would hate it - but I wouldn’t blame the refs. That’s stupid. I was rooting for the Bills. But seeing greatness is also cool. Sure as fuck didn’t blame the refs when the Red Wings were kicking the Blackhawks ass in the 90s. Just had to tip my cap, hate their gutsx, & still respect them.

You say ruining football, I say it’s pretty damn cool, and I’m a Bears fan.

Some of the previous Chiefs calls have been ridiculous. This game wasn’t one of them. If you wanna beat this team, maybe when you need 12 inches, don’t try to get exactly 12 inches and leave it up to judgement. Get 1 full yard.

But yet, like every 87 times there’s a piece of info about a preferential hashmark when facing northeast, and I think “ok, thanks for that Jay”

Nothing bothers me as much as the back-up QB commercials. Back-ups are not Closers and relief pitchers!

Im passed feeling bad as a fan. Im at the point where I’m upset at them for ruining careers. It’s as if the family has no interest in football, but also has no interest at getting out of the football business. I really love Caleb, but this org will legit ruin football players.

1. That’s an excellent playlist. We have v similar taste. I put on the Unicorns album immediately after seeing it the song pop up. 2. This playlist is updated weekly, & a good jumping off point for new stuff. Lotta stuff is “ehh” but is probs just me getting old. open.spotify.com/playlist/6i0...

Just did a balloon drop with a sparkling cider toast while the DJ blasted Baby Shark. This day is by far the one that changes the most.

The number of possibilities by just doing NYC -> CHI are fascinating. Just the one. It would open up so many opportunities for so many people.

What about the the city has changed? From 2010-2019, the city won 4 Championships and was in 7 conference finals. That’s as good a run as any city that didn’t have Brady play a snap in it.

It’s almost like having 3 offensive coordinators is a terrible way to teach a young player to play o the league.

Somebody’s headsets just needs be tuned to the livestream watch of their opponents fanbase. “Coach, Big Stu is going nuts right now on “What The Flock” and is saying we gotta kick, so here’s our best play to go for it.

Also he’s 62 with a so-so track record the last 8 seasons. If he was 52, I think he’d be worth a look.

Lotta lighting in a bottle seasons. Juron went 13-3. The point is sustained success.

3rd Quarter maybe, but to just throw away half your challenges for the game is ridiculous.
comment in response to post
Yeah, that’s fair. It probably doesn’t matter eitherway.

If they get it, they can then take the lead with 7, and win with 2TDs. If they don’t, the still have a possibility to tie with another 2pt. Scoring 14 still only has a tie game and 50/50 shot to win if it goes to OT.
