It had to be someone trying to get him to not say groceries and say something less likely to irritate the Common Man. Like "don't say groceries, say goods." But they knew he wouldn't understand why groceries would hit different.

I asked her how does her family own so much land that they wouldn't notice someone living on it for 30 days. She didn't like that question very much. I wasn't even trying to be spicy, but I do have a tendency to be blunt when I don't understand things or when people are whining.

He definitely listened to me and ingested everything I said, like all ten year olds.

I was literally just talking about this with my older child yesterday. The leg kick is just for timing. It should add nothing to the strength of the swing. Balance balance balance.

Rare for a public poll, we did a survey experiment to test whether priming respondents about the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia impacts support for Trump's broader immigration agenda. It does. Support for blanket deportations fell 20 points after hearing about Garcia's case.

Harris always felt fake and sanitized. Hillary Clinton obviously was fake. Kerry and Gore were both bland and sanitized. I voted for all of them, though.

And it's probably less about being dorks. And more about being authentic. W can't hide who he is, which worked for him. Obama is a smooth talking guy who can hoop. Trump is authentically a personification of the 80's, Biden acted like himself. Bernie is what you see.

And I'm not defending this behavior. In fact, I wish it would stop. But lots of Americans just don't want to vote for dorks.

Kerry? Zzzzz. Walz was fun before they neutered him. Gore? Zzzzzzzzzzzz. I know we rallied around Harris when she was our only choice, but don't forget she got crushed in the primaries. She's just not exciting.

People who spend their time arguing semantics and terminology are just there to argue in bad faith so they can feel like they did something without ever having to actually do something. it's way easier to do that online instead of doing hard work and actually being helpful.

Sounds like the leadership at every law firm I've been around/worked for. The people at the top think they have somehow cracked the code and that they're magic and special.

That guy's accent has been a running gag in our family for a long time. 10/10.

"We thank President Trump for his 100% tariffs on foreign made films. By our estimation, the federal government now owes us $200 million dollars." - major movie studio, probably.
