Perhaps. I tend to pass on invitations to violence from anonymous _agents provocateur_.

I don't answer to anonymous trolls - cowards too afraid to put their on their speech.

Yeah, that's exactly what I said.

Swing voters in focus groups brought up the trans/sports issue frequently. Heโs probably reacting to that.

Donโt lose too much sleep over the noise from anonymous trolls. They have lots of accounts per troll, they are noisy AF, risk nothing personal, contribute nothing, and are consistently negative. This badly-written piece of clout-chasing is very much is beneath you to respond.
Block and move on.

I blame the voters. Women know full well that choice is on the ballot every election.

They better be well armed if they want to operate in San Francisco. More of my Leftist friends have guns than you would believe.
(Iโll stick with throwing eggs but some of my friends are crazy when it comes to the creeping encroachment of fascism)

I still canโt believe Biden lost the white female vote.

Musk can write all the checks he wants; someone who did so much damage to so many people around the world for so shitty a reason should not be welcomed back into the fold.

Hi. San Franciscan here. I can confirm this is the general opinion of him amongst my friends and neighbors.

Nevermind. I read the article. Seems like Pride was trying to keep politics *out* of the event by disinviting a performer. Looks like they handled it badly. Ooops.

Why does the festival need to take any position on that issue? It's SF Pride. Anything outside of San Francisco's borders is really beyond the mandate of the organization.

All those people and not one of them went for the tires.
Come on, people. It takes two seconds.

This is a little too subtle for me. I can tell it's Vance but the printing is faint and the uniform obscured. Is it the lost, hopeless, helpless look on this face, or is the uniform an SS uniform that I just can't make out? Is the 18 important?
Sorry. I'm slow.

That's what some of the Morlocks on the right are saying. I wouldn't bet on it. Trump has the military behind him. And against Musk, he probably has Congress, even many of the Democrats.

Doesn't seem staged to me. There's no upside for Trump for Elon having tweeted that thing about Epstein. None. There's no upside for either one of them for any of this.

If not for Florida, New York would have had the worst response, thanks largely to Cuomo, who's probably going to win this contest.

It's a nice performance, but we get far more out of these witnesses when we hire one person to ask the questions instead of letting all these different Congress members have their pithy moment in the sun.

It's weird how some people seem to think the President has the power to set prices of goods and services in the market. It's also weird how they let *congress* completely off the hook for domestic policy when *congress* is the branch of government capable of fixing price gouging.

Obama's '08 campaign centered on health care reform, not specifically on a public option. Total nonsense. Fantasyland.

And you think the recovery from the pandemic isn't responsible for sinking Biden's chances? You think the stink of it that got all over Harris didn't hamper her chances?
LOL. You're not a serious person.
comment in response to

Obama won in 08 because we were in the middle of a financial collapse that the Democrats were successfully able to blame entirely on the GOP, W, and Republican policies of deregulation. He got significant centrist and Republican support, and it wasn't for tacking left.

Many things contributed to Democratic losses in 2024, including the fallout from a once-in-a-century pandemic that killed a million Americans and threw a wrench into the economy. Blaming it on your own particular issue with Democrats is a classic post hoc error.

I answered that question already (see screenshot). Progressives shouldn't be loyal and Democrats should end all pretense of reaching out and instead cut them loose. There are far more votes to be had in the center among non-voters and persuadable swing voters.
comment in response to
post
EXACTLY. They are not loyal. I would rather they be shunned than having campaign resources spent on outreach.

She didn't need anti-Democrat leftists. She needed the center. All races shake out that way: the fringe left is tiny, and all but single-digits come around and vote Democratic in the general. What's at play is the center. So that's where the outreach goes.
comment in response to
post
I disagree. Those are sufficient examples of placating the left - outreach they don't deserve, since they've never shown any loyalty to the party.
You lose.

I'm sure some might feel that way, but many do not. It's not like you conducted a poll. You're basically talking out your ass.
