I passed close to that guy. He was doing a sieg hiel over and over and yelling “I love Trump” while blowing cigarette smoke at people. Gross. Other that that, no other confrontations though.

The amount of joy in some parts of the crowd out here today at just being around others who are as angry as they are is…. Something special. I have never seen this many totally normal and different people talking openly about fascism in my life.

Oh he’s alive and worse than ever - he’s currently trying to help Trump handicap the judiciary with a bill that would limit the ability for federal judges to impose injunctions. thehill.com/homenews/hou...

Indivisible.org Is how I got involved! I was at this event and it felt very empowering despite not being able to address our concerns with our absent congressman.

Please also speak about how even if the DOE isn’t completely closed, there will be no one to enforce the protections and oversight that the DOE provided. After the firings and fund slashing, the administration claims it will cover low income/special needs/civil protections but this is disingenuous.

My family will be deeply affected: -Both my kids go to a Title I school -One of them has an IEP -My husband is a college professor; grants and loans being cut will be devastating for the higher education institutions.

(202) 224-6542 is Chuck Schumer’s DC office number. If you don’t call and voice your opinion—YOU are part of the problem. Takes about 90 seconds orc less.

Another hot mic moment was when one of the board members said that there can’t possibly be more protestors coming to the next meeting. We are taking that as a challenge. We will be there defending students, teachers and librarians. Count on it, GUHSD Board.

With other Democratic representatives saying they will show up when Republican reps won’t, maybe @sarajacobs.house.gov would be willing to jump in and have a conversation with the constituents of CA-48 since Issa won’t.
