I'm gonna be the dissenting voice here and say this is a huge mistake. Sendou shouldn't have this much power to essentially decide who gets to organize tournaments. The community being so heavily in on sendou.ink means having to host an event anywhere else is going to hurt attendance imo.

idk if this is new but it looks like SoS is experimenting with SZ-preferred and while I think that's better than SZ-only it still has the problem of a team being able to win only on SZ. Even if a set only has one TC/RM game and the rest are split SZ/CB that solves the problem #compsplatoon
