That's an amazing opera. Really intense emotions. Thanks so much!

Gerontocracy exists to protect dirty state secrets; that's why much of Congress is ancient and Trump's first cabinet was full of old-time mafia lackeys (Ross, Mnuchin, Barr etc). Now that the explicit goal is to destroy the US, they want very young people who never knew the secrets and don't care.

You already do too much! It's just such a perfect nugget of nimby history that ended up worse for everyone. Thanks for your service to this project.

This is such a great story. So ambitious. Do you have a map handy?

I listened. There were a few EIOBs. Great edits. The original is here whatever.scalzi.com/2023/07/29/a...

Rivian decided to reinvent the wheel by using 3 custom fancy ovals and weak glue. It does not speak well of their design and build procedure. Fancy but weak. Rivian: DESIGN IS OUR PASSION!

Here's an 8 minute video of Jackson Galaxy touring the facility. His foundation gave them an award and $5,000 to support their great programs. Thanks for posting this. I love it. 987theriver.iheart.com/featured/mar...

I heard the man said "Good night. Now it's time to go home." Then he made it fast with one more thing.

That gold and purple and tan one is so beautiful! Your color palette is developing nicely. Do you take custom color requests? I've got some ideas for Mt Hood! Thanks.

If you're on a budget the Marriott Downtown Waterfront is a fine hotel. Great whiskey bar in the lobby. Pretty good food. Nice coffee shop too. Pretty good food. If you want to see some nice formal gardens, take the light rail up to Washington Park and visit the International Rose Test Gardens.

I recommend the porter hotel. It's a safe area and within walking distance of lots of great food. Restaurants we love nearby are Q, Higgins, and King Tide. You'll be near the waterfront park. Always bustling. And near the farmer's market. If you want to splurge the Kimpton River Place hotel is nice!
