Is there anything he hasn't royally screwed up?

No joke, I've been legitimately concerned that the roving bands of armed, masked men who refuse to ID themselves would be a perfect cover for all sorts of foreign threat actors.
There are many reasons why LEOs ID themselves--both for their own protection and the safety of the general public.

People have already been speculating about false flag events happening in a major city.
Frankly, I don't know what to believe, but I'm inclined to avoid large crowded events for the time being.

You can probably just wait a week and someone will leak the new one.

All of these photos just bolster the case that they're hiring "bounty hunters" to contract for them.

Why does he insist on making English the official language if he struggles with it this much?

You know, he's probably getting a lot of valuable help from that Fox News commentator.

They might do this, but not without some sort of...um, guideline...

When I think about all the knowledge and technology we've accumulated as humans, it's depressing to think that it's just resulted in fools like this spewing idiotic nonsense on national news.

That is some amateur Barney Fife nonsense.
I'd never really bought into the idea that they were using untrained personnel, but everything about this guy seems dangerously unprofessional.

If I were his lawyer, I'd still be calling a *whole lot* of people in to testify.

Don't worry, they're not in freefall -- they're "just entering correction territory".

Also, thanks for sharing the article.
It's so easy to get an LLM to accept an absurd premise. Recently, I got one to tell me how we could avoid having our minds controlled by a network of ancient underground mushrooms. It didn't take long to get to "my apologies" and proceed to share actual advice.

Yes, my original post was awkwardly worded, but I agree it's already a problem. We somehow need more literacy about the limitations of LLMs, but in a society where people believe chemtrails are a thing, and AI companies spend billions to promote LLM "intelligence", I don't have much hope.

This will absolutely be exploited by every unscrupulous advertiser with the opportunity to do so.

Oof, the idea that people think LLMs are "objective" and not just responding with a statistical collage of canned responses are gonna get locked into an echo chamber of their neuroses.
Definitely unsettling.

Huh, sounds like there's a big loophole here for people to train AIs to do things they definitely wouldn't like...
