So, the gradient at any point on the curve is the y value at the point π/2 further on. It emphasises that sin x and cos x are really the same function that differentiates to itself with a phase change, not two different functions differentiating to each other (with a minus sign floating around)

Are you counting the COVID years as having Maths exams?

I have a strong preference for doing it through the distributions menu so that I always see a picture of the distribution curve.

You can also do a normal Normal Distribution calculation then edit the probability and it will reverse engineer it for you.

Home - Calculate - Catalog - Distribution (9) - Inverse Normal (7) Syntax: InvNormCD(tail,p,mu,sigma) tail, mu and sigma are optional tail is -1 for left and 1 for right So InvNormCD(0.05) = -1.644 Or you can type InvNormCD(-1,0.05,0,1) = -1.644 Full instructions: support.casio.com/global/en/ca...

I've never found a way, but I know that if I set it to blue and then go back to cursor then when I go back to pen it's still blue. I usually do this when I start the slideshow. Red is an odd choice for the default!

Yep - pretty much most people can use it. Save to pdf is really quick too and creates a version that people can open on almost any device. As with most Microsoft stuff it's easy to use and universal, though somewhat lacking in advanced functionality (or style!).

It's a really versatile tool for putting a question on the screen with space to write on too. I use it frequently but I (almost) never use animations.

How did you get past the paywall?

In general I'm a fan of a menu-driven approach. I didn't need to look up where the nCr button was just now - it was on the first guess of the menu where I expected it to be.
