We ignore the threat of Trumpism at our own peril. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Every American should read this. (Free link) www.nytimes.com/2025/06/07/o...

Legally, Trump has no authority to fire her. Her refusal to quit is an important step toward fighting fascism. www.washingtonpost.com/entertainmen...

Right-wing love for the "unitary executive theory" of American fascism would evaporate in a heartbeat if a liberal president ever tried to do a fraction of what the First Felon is doing. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/04/o...

Great job, Kentucky Trump voters. www.kentucky.com/news/politic...

More of this, please. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/06/u...

“Raises questions”

Coming soon:

Conservatives: I like Trump because he's a businessman. Reality: Businessmen make money for themselves, not the US. Trump is grifting us. Conservatives: I don't like how he talks, but I like what he's doing. Reality: The way he talks is the way he is: ugly, mean, bigoted, liar. That's you, too.

Chief of Nashville, criminal division resigns over decision to charge Abrego Garcia. That’s a big story and the details will likely be very damning for the administration.

Trump has wiped out more than 700 years of prison time for his allies and supporters since retaking office. https://trib.al/1Rz96Py

Wow. What a sign that criminal case against Abrego Garcia may be politically cooked up. "Schrader’s resignation was prompted by concerns that the case was being pursued for political reasons" Schrader spent 15 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Nashville and was chief of the criminal division

“The suit could force the Trump administration to defend the prosecutions, or pay damages at taxpayers’ expense to the Proud Boys … a decision historians warn could amount to an endorsement of using violence for political gain.” www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

We need details on this.

Are we clear now a private businessman shouldn’t be in a position to control the space program—that this richest man in the world fueled by drugs, ego & hate shouldn’t be partnering with a malignant sociopath in the WH immunized by the SCOTUS & bent on pocketing billions & flouting the Constitution?

Hey, remember when Trump told a room of Big Oil CEOs he'd make all their wildest dreams of climate denial come true...for $1B in campaign cash? Now the White House war on the environment is the Trump corruption scandal we don't talk about nearly enough My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/trum...

Amazing. Respect the lede.

Elon Musk genuinely thought firing thousands of government workers and killing hundreds of thousands of people by cutting foreign aid was going to make people love him. The moment that didn’t happen, he went down a spiral he’ll never escape from and it’s kind of nice to watch.

We’re not history professors but it just kinda seems like the founders were pretty intentional about setting up our system so our fate wouldn’t be decided entirely by the moods of billionaires with the fragilest egos imaginable. 🇺🇸

I hope somebody is popping popcorn.

A "significant share" of companies surveyed by the Federal Reserve said they raised the prices of goods and services unaffected by tariffs. One company said they did this to "enjoy the extra margin before tariffs increased their costs." See the problem here? www.axios.com/2025/06/04/t...

Remember: If unions didn’t matter, powerful corporations wouldn’t spend millions of dollars every year to stop workers from organizing. Keep up the fight.

Trump reminds us daily of how stupid he is.

1/ New in the Abrego Garcia case, the Judge has just granted his lawyers' request for permission to file sanctions against the government, which is very unusual.
