The old “he had sex with the victim on the verge of their death, so he’s not a murder and necrophiliac, just a murder” argument

I’d love to read a copy of the Post’s current mission statement. Because it doesn’t seem to have a mission anymore.

America is unexceptional to Americans. But even today, we’re still a beacon to so many people from so many parts of the world. We shouldn’t give up hope on ourselves. Yes these are dark days. But that’s no reason to surrender.

We in the US are on a bad path but we are not yet as corrupt as a totalitarian communist state. Again, I’d urge you to speak perhaps to a Uighur, or to an ex-refusenik from the Warsaw Pact.

I highly recommend that you speak with persons who lived in communist states and experienced discrimination, imprisonment, exile, etc., due to their political or religious beliefs, their ethnicity or sexual orientation, before jumping on the PRC bandwagon.

I grew up in Detroit. That album (and Paul McCartney’s first solo single Another Day, which was released almost simultaneously) really evoke strong memories in me of entering my teen years. Both the album and the single have the same sad rainy day vibe. Good music.

The brief dialog between the the two guys that opens the song? That’s Detroit Lions Mel Farr and Lem Barney.

It’s their loss. And honestly, Audi is already near capacity with fans who love the team and want to be there. We’ll probably have 16K-plus there Saturday night.

So, the admin wants pharmaceutical manufacturers to sell prescription medicines directly to patients an amorphous most favored nation price. Yeah, that’s gonna happen.

Great. Looking forward to return of drug shortages due to product contamination. This is what happens when you eliminate all institutional memory at FDA.

This happened to my dad decades ago. Driving back to Detroit from our cottage on Lake Erie shore. He left his naturalization certificate behind. Lucky for us I had just gotten my drivers license and could drive back to retrieve his papers. Wonder how that would have played out today.
