Really loved ‘La Cocina’. And pleasantly surprised that ‘Lilo & Stitch 2’ wasn’t awful.

I know to some people I’m increasingly going to sound like Sarah Connor in Terminator 2, ie deranged, but the thing is she was right. I’ve never used an LLM/GenAI. I don’t want to use it. I’m horrified it has used my copyrighted works to train itself. I think we should probably smash it with hammers

I think if someone becomes a billionaire they should receive a little medal and we throw them a little party with a buffet and a disco. Then their wealth gets redistributed. If they then become a billionaire for a second time, they get a second medal, a fancier party and maybe a cake.

So little of that era stands up outside of nostalgia, but this one absolutely does. And the fact the Bernard Butler also co-wrote ‘The Wild Ones’ which has also aged incredibly well is frankly astounding.

Oh I’m sure you’re right in the specific case of that article. It’s just everything else they’ve said and done since gaining power that has disappointed/disillusioned me. Feeling it all a bit keenly as I now have a Reform MP.

And this is how conspiracy theories take hold. Because how can anyone look at the binfire that is the Trump administration and go ‘let’s do that!’ without the rest of us concluding that they’ve been infiltrated by the hard right and are actively seeking to instil Farage as PM.

Then I thought they were unprincipled. Now I think their principals are antithetical to mine and what I understood the labour movement to be. I thought Starmer was a weathervane, then I thought he was a rube, now … what?

We are worried about the meat grinder, but you have to admit that ‘not entering the meat grinder’ has left people disillusioned.
It is easy to blame the meat grinder, but plant-based alternatives are not yet viable.
We have all been turned to mince, but thank god we no longer use pronouns.

We have been having meetings with the meat grinder.
The meat grinder is inevitable.
The meat grinder should be embraced.
You must not call the people who do not understand what the meat grinder entails ‘ignorant’.
We are in a WhatsApp group with the meat grinder.
