It smells like if you threw up into a dumpster in the summer. It tastes like if you put a knorr French onion soup packet into some banana pudding.

It’s important to stay regular with that.

Smart. You could oven bake it and cut it too, which has advantages and disadvantages in terms of flavor capture, but you don’t want to have to separate too much grease from a 6 gal batch.

I think people with certain names know when their kid is gonna be a college sports star. You never hear these names at work. Only on draft boards.

It honestly took me about 15 seconds to be sure you weren’t commenting on Tekken.
I still think what you said about King works both ways though.

The square of 12. Maybe there’s something to this…

What did Vernon broughton do to impress them? Are they smarter than everybody else in the nfl? Or are they determined to pass by obvious value in search of untapped potential? I am… EXTREMELY CONFUSED.

Only been 365 since they last drafted an OT though.

All authority is an illusion. It’s only effective if you believe in it.
Except for brute force. That’s a real authority. Not a good one, but very real.

If there’s ever a complete back to the future reboot, this vehicle will obviously play the role of Delorean.

He looks like if TMZ had some later era Robert Evans footage.
He looks like the guy who worked on Ed MacMahon’s nights off.
He looks like Bob Euker’s overweight cousin.

That’s exactly her relationship with Goldberg.

Curious what you think of SC defense generally. They have technically sound and disruptive players at each level, but other than Emmanwori (who has insane potential but is the least mean), they all seem undervalued. Are they a mirage? They play SEC schedule and look vicious but are graded low.

Is Fortune really going to creep up to the fourth round now? I like him a lot, but half the reason is because I thought the Saints might sneak a starter in the 6th round, he was so woefully undervalued. Is that not going to be the case when the draft occurs?

Well we did get 5 1/2 sacks to make up for it, sooo…. Even Steven’s.

1. Show me the moment where dignity factored into a positive outcome in Congress since you’ve been there.
2. Why vote to shut the government down, when you can just have an unelected South African billionaire do it by force?

We got a nose tackle for our 3-4 coach, we’ve overpaid 2 free agents from last year, and we forced the face of the team to stay for a big paycheck against his will. A different direction at anything would be really nice.

I never go there anymore. And my life may have improved slightly as a result.

In this event, do you think the saints begin shifting to 4/3 drafting and player acquisition? Would change the outlook for a lot of positions. We may accidentally have 4/3 DE’s but we’d need LB’s and a Nose.

You could definitely go to any office of the US government’s various social benefit programs, and just old-fashioned bully whatever 22 year old tools show up there to execute these “orders”.

That will be true for the rest of my life. Modern congress has proven that responsibility is an impediment to their employment goals. Trump is “special” in that he is anxious to do very impactful things, and simultaneously takes no responsibility. He is a perfect marriage for the modern Congress.

I’m of the nonplussed opinion that the 38% of the US who want what’s happening are dead set on some sort of civil war, so I don’t think argument matters. I’ve never seen argument work. I do think that local engagement and calling out grotesque ideas is the sum total of positive nonviolent action.

Haven’t read this yet, 1) I will, shortly, and 2) I think personally that the “loss” was in seeing the potential enough to draft him, but not successfully coaching him up to that potential. Fangio did it in a single season. Wasn’t a magic trick. Don’t think another try would’ve helped us.

And he wasn’t a criminal or a bum or anything, just seemed like kind of an ass. Didn’t want to be here, so wasn’t going to put forth the effort. That’s what it looked like to me, so take it as an unfounded anecdote, but still… not a fun guy to pin a teams hopes to.

Not really fair, but he was hurt all the time. Seemed disingenuous after a while. I went to a bunch of Pels games and only saw him once. For like 7 minutes while he was trying to come back from something. Holliday was the best player of that time in NOLA. I was happy when AD forced his way out.
comment in response to

As a casual fan of the Pelicans, I can say from some experience attempting to root for him… he’s just a naturally unlikable person, I think? Pels fans (generally) are happy for CP3, but grumble when AD come up. Ross Jackson has a running bit listing people who thank New Orleans before Davis does.

The problem is the concept of a plan. The thinking is what makes it fail. Americans (they have proved it, over and over again) don’t give a shit. They’re dumb, and tired, and don’t want to talk about shit much. Lean into that. Just tell everybody the nazis want to give you cancer. Then say it again.

It’s not Patrick Mahomes anymore. He’s great, blah blah, he’ll have a resurgence of brilliance in his mid 30’s, but now, this is a boring, preferentially officiated and fundamentally sound football team, who only tries 4 weeks a year and almost goes undefeated anyway. I’ve seen this movie before.

Or stay in hurry up with cook and a few PA options while Jones is off the field. You could nickel and dime the middle of the line all the way to the endzone!

I know everybody except shad khan hates baalke, but doesn’t this whole thing make coen seem like an asshole from jump? Or is his judgement the one to be trusted in this whole self-produced melodrama? Who would trust him in a professional setting after this?

He’s built for the big stage. He’s really ridden a wave of trades and resigns into contenders his whole career, and it’s hard to hate it (even as a Saints fan). He makes big games more fun.

It’s almost as if both parties are entirely beholden to the interests of those who have enough money to buy such interest.
