This would be a sensible move. Would also free up some OBR time for providing some more in depth analysis of longer term fiscal sustainability

Step 1: sack the physios Step 2: ??? Step 3: Champions League

Great to see the relaunched RENEWAL is here, under an ace new editorial team. Looking forward to digging in.

Imagine the discourse on the selections.

This is excellent research from @steveakehurst.bsky.social. Urge everyone to read for an *informed* take on the voters Labour is losing to Reform.

Terrific piece by @joxley.jmoxley.co.uk, and exactly right, I think:

What should the strategy be for #nufc in the summer? Part 1 of my thoughts up on The Mag (Part 2 tomorrow) Summary: get deeper, get younger, prioritise, but be aware that this team is at peak age now. www.themag.co.uk/2025/04/newc...

Genuinely impressive that the Daily Mail have written a story about the new TV show about the Mitfords without mentioning the whole Nazi thing. www.dailymail.co.uk/tv/article-1...

100%. We need to improve the squad in the summer, but also there needs to be a willingness to use it. Last time we were in Europe Eddie didn't rotate, ran guys into the ground, and helped to cause an injury crisis.

Will miss the #nufc game

Maybe Liz Truss going to America wasn't a joke. Maybe they listened to her....

Very strange to write a whole piece about this issue and not even mention the debate around a Right to Disconnect - given the UK govt committed to implementing a code of practice on this and other European govts already doing so.
