There were a lot of people skeptical, and for good reason, when the Knicks originally hired Thibs. What he accomplished during his time here was impressive, and the franchise as a whole is no longer the laughing stock it once was. I think when it became clear he had a ceiling, his seat got hot.

I feel like a lot of people are down on KAT, and it reminds me of what it was like after Lindor’s first season with Mets. Funny thing is, KAT was leaps and bounds better in year 1 for Knicks than Lindor was for Mets.

Very enjoyable Knicks season comes to a disappointing end. I think going as far as they did and losing the way they did will be hard to ignore, and will result in change. Can’t get this far and be complacent.

the Knicks have been taking incremental steps forward over the last few years, and I think this series playing out as it has will force them to make changes they otherwise wouldn't have, because a team like Indy will be around next year
