This Hoosiers ass team lol

Thunder/Pacers is objectively so much better basketball than the Celtics turning Luka into mashed potatoes in five overmatched games.

My son started playing soccer two years ago, and he really liked it, which great! Soccer is great! It's the only sport he likes, which ... not so great, but whatever. I took him to a tryout of 6- and 7-year-olds at our local club, and it was a bloodbath. I could not believe the quality of the kids.

I really don't think millennials can possibly understand the youth sports landscape until they see their kids experience it. Everything is so drastically different.

ESPN tips off its exclusive coverage of the 2025 NBA Finals Thursday on ABC as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the What Went Wrong For the Knicks.

If you are someone who follows me and you care that Cruz Azul is absolutely annihilating Vancouver rn please lmk

Pacers vs. Thunders is an incredible 2K Sim the Postseason matchup but also the basketball could be really fun

With both their teams about to bow out in 5 games, you can’t help but wonder what a pairing of idk maybe something like KAT + Ant might look like

Face Of The League emerges naturally - the problem is that LeBron and Steph have been the Faces for so long, no one remembers how any of this works as they fade away

32-12-15-0 turnovers is insane work. Just so impressed by Haliburton in these playoffs.

Reggie Miller saying that Jalen Brunson picking up his fourth foul in the second quarter is not that big a deal because Brunson can just start the third quarter is such a nonsensical take lol

Nesmith inevitably detonating Jaylen’s other knee would have been the end of the unity.

The Celtics/Pacers Mutual Respect Alliance might not have survived the Pacers winning in 4 against Jaylen on one meniscus, so at least a beautiful friendship was salvaged in the ashes of Game 6.

Every Celtics-adjacent person tried to tell you this would happen. I get why you might not have listened given that we all picked Celtics in 4 last series, but we did try to tell you

One of the funny things about watching draft clips on Nesmith was that you were like “oh wow, I think the Celtics got a sniper!” and then he arrived and it was like “wait is this guy okay wtf”

One more for the road

Not usually. ALWAYS.

Kinda foul of ESPN to use a Gary Payton Sonics photo in an OKC history montage

A different Celtics offseason preview than in the past. Into the unknown… medium.com/@rbernardoni...

Feels like OKC has some real parallels to the Celtics last year where they were clearly the best team in the NBA, but injuries made their path to the Finals underwhelming and a weird opposing bracket leaves them with an overmatched Finals opponent.

The Knicks are playing the husk of an NBA team right now.

I do think the Pacers are probably going to the NBA Finals.

Celtics don't have it tonight, and you run the risk of a We Didn't Have It Tonight game ending your season when you lose Games 1 and 2 at home even before your All-NBA superstar goes out.

Game 5 looked like a championship team refusing to go out sad. Game 6 (so far) looks like a tired team that knows it won't see its best player for another 15 months.

Patient Jaylen Brown is an absolutely incredible basketball player.

They hadn't tried getting Jalen Brunson to foul out in previous games though, big adjustment by Mazzulla

I'm glad Robinson is making free throws. Hack-a-Mitch is unethical. Check ball.

I think Jalen Brunson is brave for being willing to put his face there to take that particular hit, but also he's not allowed to do so lol

It's wild that there is still a Celtics game tonight, and that this team is talented enough that there could be more Celtics games after tonight given everything that happened the past 48 hours.

@tomwesterholm.bsky.social Jusy wanted to say thanks for all the reminders over the years to appreciate while we have it the wonderful privilege of getting to watching Jayson Tatum play basketball.

The Celtics presumably won't tank next year whatever today's diagnosis brings, but apropos of nothing, here's a photo of top prospect AJ Dybantsa and his favorite player who is"definitely a player I would love to play with at some point."

“It’s possible the combination of adrenaline, a home crowd, and a champion’s pride lead to the Celtics winning Game 5. But their biggest dream this season — to repeat as champion— is bound to fade away to wherever unfulfilled dreams go.” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/05/13/s...

“He has lost – for the first time, and at the peak of his powers – a pound of flesh that the game inevitably takes from you, no matter how much you love it.”

I wrote about Jayson Tatum and how basketball cruelly and inevitably takes its pound of flesh, no matter how much you love it. www.boston.com/sports/bosto...

Just awful
