Trump knows best. Trump knows best about everything. Trump knows that he knows best. What a marvellous human being, America is so lucky to have him. (Oh, and please keep him).

4% hit on UK gdp Increased food prices Shortage of skilled labour Difficulty of importing from EU Difficulty of exporting to EU Musicians unable to tour abroad regularly Increased illegal immigrant trafficking All these are facts, attributable to leaving the EU, but you believe whatever you wish.

Not true. A lot of us always knew, and knew when we voted remain.

Mostly. I think 3 types voted for it 1 the greedy company director looking for more profit by decreasing/eliminating worker/consumer rights 2 the racist (the biggest section by far) 3 the village idiot

Could it be because said mp’s and peers don’t have a finger in this particular pie?

Follow the money. People sit on empty properties waiting for the land value to rise. These people hold great influence in our society, including councils. This country is governed on behalf of the rich, not you and I.

Sadly the Fins are “foreigners” so we can’t follow their lead, because we are British and always know best. That’s why we had Brexit!!

Brexit caused (and still causes) untold damage to our nation. Ironic thing is in relation to Gib and NI, solutions to major local issues are not new or ‘inspired’ - they are simply reverting certain status’s to what they were before the Brexit curse happened. Just reverse the whole damn thing!

Indeed. But they stick with it including its 4% hit on gdp, whilst at the same time looking for ways to grow the economy! But hey, we got sovereignty apparently. What a stupid, dinosaur, backward looking, nation we are!

Apologies you are correct. I was meaning the rest of the uk, without Ireland.

More disproportionate airtime for this looney party, why don’t they interview the actual monster raving looney party? Would get a more sensible argument I’m sure!

Here’s a thought, why not concentrate on making bbc news ‘people with an IQ in double digits’ friendly? Oh, and cancel reforms season ticket to QT while they’re at it!!!!

So, Gibraltar has FOM! NI has access to the single market! So who suffers most from the abomination of Brexit - the mainland of GB. Lammy says Brexit was threatening Gibraltar’s way of life, Sunak says NI is now in a privileged position economically! So what about our way of life & economy?

I must say, I’m somewhat surprised that so many Scots voted for reform/ukip yesterday. They had the common sense to reject brexit, and yet came within touching distance of returning a Brexit mp. Odd.

So, basically, “Farage lied to me and screwed the country, but hey, please can he tell me more lies! Oh, and I trust him to run the country”

Do they not realise that Tory govts NEVER invest in the north? No matter how much spare cash they have!

Oh dear. The idiots still seem to still believe the “they need us more than we need them” rubbish. The EU have rules (which WE helped make) for 3rd party countries. WE decided to be a 3rd party country! And yet it’s all the EU’s fault 🙄

Yes, and I will never forgive the idiotic xenophobes who made her pm.

“Foreigners”??!
comment in response to post
Totally true, but………… The main cause of brexit is currently leading all the opinion polls - “Let’s have more of the same!” Just what the hell is wrong with this stupid country??!!!

He won’t apologise. He never does. For anything. And the saddest thing is, that the MSM will never ever ask him to apologise or point out the flaws that come with every statement he makes.

And there we have it - Jenrick summed up in a single post!

I was referring ‘in principle’ to some of our sentences. See climate change protestors for current detail vs some of the major fraudsters still at large due to their positions of influence.

Good grief, he has some competition for that title!! Johnson Truss 30p Gove JRM Gullis……..the list is endless should be a great contest!

Yes, easier with a small population but not impossible with a big one. Sad thing is we never even tried. We worship profit and billionaires-let’s make more of them! Take from the poor to give to the rich is the principle of our society- always has been, it just gets more pronounced as years go by.

Drugs and knife crime are rampant in our society. “An underbelly of society - we need more policing/harsher sentences”. Er, how about rebalancing the wealth distribution to eliminate the ‘underbelly’? Give everyone a fair chance. Or is that unfair on billionaires? Like Mone sat on her yacht?
comment in response to post
Sadly it’s the same in the uk.

Farage lying? Surely not 🙄

And still not a single prosecution.

Why is this charlatan still getting air time?????
comment in response to post
Replace the word ‘hotels’ with ‘Farage houses’ and ask him if he still defends “free speech”?

Great! So, who will pay the fine? Directors & CEO? No. Shareholders maybe? No. YOU, dear customer, YOU will pay the fine in your bills. Privatisation at its best.
comment in response to post
And what has become of reclaiming our money???? Nothing!
comment in response to post
You are probably right sadly. Society would not be worse without these people.

People like him are too stupid to realise that the police gave out the info fast to prevent people like him jumping to the wrong conclusion and inciting more race riots. Tbf it must be a tough life being so full of hatred.

But the £10bn has gone into the pockets of the millionaire directors so that’s ok, because as we all know, it will ‘trickle down’. Not. An example of terrible governance, governance for the wealthy (which is what we like and accept in the UK).
