Thank you - I’ve learned so much about my family (and my husband’s) in the past half-dozen years since retirement. Was even contacted by a third cousin in Northern Ireland last week! ☘️

Finally pieced together this story from our family’s past. A sad tragedy from 1890, but now we can remember those who were lost: toomuchbrudders.com/2025/05/18/1...

This set of books makes me happy even when I’m not reading one of them. πŸ“šπŸ’™

I keep all our Folio Society editions together. They’re kind of snobby that way. πŸ“šπŸ’™

I learned about Angel’s Trumpet, thanks to a bit of prose my mom wrote in 1946: toomuchbrudders.com/2025/05/09/t...

Thank you. Our youngest son gave us a squirrel feeder for Christmas. (Photo is grandson helping Gary hoist it into a tree.) But not one squirrel has approached it in all these months. Other trees, yes … but the feeder remains untouched. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Sadly, my parents have both since passed away. The morning of my dad’s funeral, I looked out and saw one of the bird feeders was toppled over and basically smashed to smitherines on the back patio. It seemed quite symbolic. That was a tough day!

We scurried out of there once we realized our mistake. 😳 Maybe it wasn’t the first time it happened.

I visited the museum long ago, too, and somehow got put in charge of our group: toomuchbrudders.com/2020/02/04/t... 🎹πŸͺ©

Have you read this book? It’s fascinating … and infuriating. πŸ“šπŸ’‘ @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social outdid himself!

Thank you. It does my heart good to see my mom’s poetry still appreciated years after her death. (She did not β€œgo gently.” ❀️)

Agree with you - it’s excellent! Hard to accept finishing that final page … Here are some thoughts about all the books I read that month: toomuchbrudders.com/2025/01/31/b... πŸ“šπŸ’™

We had not one - but two! - foxes come to visit! I paired it with one of my mom’s poems: toomuchbrudders.com/2025/05/07/t... 🦊

Here’s a pair: Demon Copperhead followed by David Copperfield. I read a lot and must say both were standouts! Whatever you choose, enjoy! πŸ“šπŸ’™πŸ’‘ toomuchbrudders.com/2025/04/30/f...
