Oh yeah most people I know think 2 is the best. I just think it has the best effects. I don't think it's that good of a film (and the third act is sooooo bad). Great kills, though!
3 I can easily distinguish because it was the first entry to lean much more heavily into comedy.

It was the first R-rated DVD I ever owned (thanks to that one girlfriend I had my freshman year of high school) so I watched these extras *a lot* back in 2004 lol.

Also, part of the fun of the FD films is how they take regular, everyday items/events and turn them into death traps. Nothing about space is "everyday" lol. I guess a cruise ship isn't either, but it's basically a big hotel.

I guess it's just that we have so many space horror movies...but very few boat-set horror movies.
