some movies have specific scenes worth rewatching the whole thing. Ga'Hoole has flying inside the storm. Tron Legacy has the light jets (and, really, the rest of it too tbh). Hellboy II has the forest god and golden army. just absolute masterpieces, even if the movies weren't super popular.

I turn off all the smoothing/upscale/ai bullshit they shove into these things now. give me that crisp 24 fps and accurate colors the way it was intended. on an oled it sings.

an oled panel has been a bucket list item for me for like a decade. turns out they're almost all the same visually so I got the least expensive LG one (the B4). including inflation it cost about as much as the old (used) tv did almost ten years ago. not bad!
