60% are bots. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to clear out all the online fakes and even if there was they open up three accounts as soon as one is shut down, itās definitely an issue. But letās hope the truth shines through on Election Day.

I feel like everyone has been kicked off X and just opens another account. I let my account sit for a decade and as soon as the vote is over Iām done with X itās so toxic.

How is PP the best they can do? I have a hard time understanding why anyone would rally behind him other than āI always vote CPCā so I will again. Some of his platform is literally impossible to follow thru on and thereās zero fact checking just mindless clapping.

I think youāre right and they are going to get very aggressive and even more irrational. PP lives for dirty politics as do most of his followers on X. The truth/reality is completely irrelevant to them & any display of emotion viewed as confirmation of some odd conspiracy theory, they are obsessed.

Itās a multifaceted issue for sure and we definitely saw how much social media influenced the vote in the states. Socials are still being used to manipulate extreme beliefs itās not helping.
I really fear misinformation is driving the Canadian vote as well. The polls dip when misinfo is trending.

Iām seriously concerned we saw how much this influenced the vote in the USA. We at least deserve our votes to be based on reality. Meanwhile, thereās all these people believing the weirdest things.

I feel like reality TV has rotted a lot of brains, unfortunately. When shock culture takes precedence over actual facts itās definitely concerning. I fear the digital task force teams are not doing enough to stop the misinformation on social media, itās all so heavily targeted at Mark Carney.

Really need more support for the 190,000 without power for a week now. Many are seniors with no where else to go @fordnation will be in Orillia today. Ramara, Brechin, Lagoon city, Peterborough still out is it possible to pull hydro workers from elsewhere? Offer hotels?
