*two* people thinking i was JTF in one night? during pride???

i've been freelance for a year and this is the first time this has come up: a company i invoiced says i can either be paid in 90 days or request a credit card transfer and cover the 5% fee. this feels very wrong to me? anyone else deal with this sort of thing?

i will cautiously admit that i was vastly disappointed in the gypsy revival, mostly because of some truly baffling direction and a whole lot of missed opportunities

honestly twitter fights are more fun when it’s people i know personally

i was at marie’s crisis for about two and a half hours last night and heard maybe 3 showtunes from before 2000 (it was a real crisis)

if elon is unhappy then i’m happy

"i don't need to see sunset blvd on broadway because i saw it on tour with petula clark in 1998" is definitely a statement i made last night and i stand by it

“i’ve never apologized before” is not really a badge of honor

Putting the "Christ" back in "Christ, what an asshole"

i’m taking a red eye to new york tonight and i am determined to see a matinee of Purpose if i can swing a rush ticket at 9am tomorrow…….

#TheGildedAge panel at the ATX TV Festival. Baranski goes off on late capitalism, “and the grotesque displays of wealth, sending women into space, for what? To do their makeup? What the fuck?!” Spector: “Christine, you’re a firework.”

lol i was eagerly waiting for this

writing my first journalism pitch in many years and i feel like my brain is broken

the crazy thing is that my family members who would care about this are already dead www.npr.org/2025/05/29/n...

at first i was horrified that my black suit no longer fits, but then i remembered i bought it for my father’s funeral 17 years ago so perhaps it’s time to let it go

this is how i found out

been saying this for like 3 years now, the core constituency of the "manosphere" is not Gen Z or teenage boys, it is 35-55 year old dudes who wish they were still teenage boys

filed my taxes six weeks ago and still no federal refund.......

the fun thing about getting celebrity gossip from close to the sources is that years later i can tell when they’re lying in interviews

accidentally accused Nathan Fillion of wearing a wig 🤪

tom cruise in his underwear automatically earns a movie three stars

gotta go see a guy about an impossible mission
