Don't take your love away from me Don't you leave my heart in misery If you go, then I'll be blue 'Cause breaking up is hard to do Remember when you held me tight And you kissed me all through the night Think of all that we've been through And breaking up is hard to do

Trump threatens to take away Elon’s government contracts

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen, but I've come to expect it from The Ringer's NBA coverage. I would totally get just not ranking Embiid with a footnote of lack of clarity on health. But to slot him 84 between Christian Braun and CJ McCollum is idiotic.

These are the types of hard hitting questions I always expected from the internet

I can't wait to see Doc Rivers worm his way out of Milwaukee to get this job to crash out in the second round several years in a row to blame it on Brunson.

... Kinda make me want to see Phoenician Scheme more...?

Legit hilarious. Good luck whoever takes the job next.

It's been a weird offseason for Saquon Barkley

To alcohol, the cause of and solution, to all of life's problems.

One of the absolute best of the aughts.

I don't hold any specific ill-will towards the Knicks or Knick fans, but knowing that someone other than Sixers fans had to suffer the devastation and indignity of the Kawhi bounce warms my heart

My ★ review of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith on Letterboxd boxd.it/9KP5TD

My ★★★½ review of Lilo & Stitch on Letterboxd boxd.it/9KOJiF

i watched the episode of Law & Order where Stephen A. Smith got murdered i am pleased to report that Law & Order is still doing the most Law & Order stuff you can imagine briancgrubb.substack.com/p/law-and-or...

I agree that Biden should not have run again, but the 'scorching' excerpts from Jake Tapper's book about the 'conspiracy' to hide his decline basically amount to a celeb whining he wasn't recognized, ex-Obama staffer bitching (been happening since '08) and an old man seeming tired (shocking...).

This means they'd pick 7. While a second trade down wouldn't be out of the question, wouldn't be surprised if they took Kneuppel or Murray-Boyles in that spot if they make the pick.

If the Sixers stay put, I suspect they take Edgecombe over Bailey. My guess is they want to move down. I'd look at the Pelicans at 7 as a potential trade partner where the Sixers swap picks, pick up someone like Herb Jones, and a future first. Doubt they trade out.

If that is what it looked like for Jayson Tatum, may be the end of this era of Celtics basketball given what's looming

If I had to guess, Sixers trade out of 3. Would guess Morey tries to move down while picking up a 1st in 2026 or 2027. Some of this is going to depend on Ace Bailey's combines and workouts though. Flagg and Harper are the clear 1-2. Things like is Ace Bailey actually only 6'7" will matter.

God owes Sixers fans this pick but also remember Adam Silver is basically Nosferatu. So this truly is a good vs. evil struggle unfolding on live TV.

Some would say that paying even $0.50 for the novelization of Star Wars Attack of the Clones at a Goodwill is too much, but my morbid curiosity on how one novelizes one of the worst movies ever made won out.

My final NBA Lottery sim for 2025. Sixers keep their pick and jump up to 4 Spurs get the #1 pick which is kind of enraging.

80% chance of Mike Ditka achieving Sainthood now

Pope Leo XIV isn't going to break any new ground on social issues related to gender and sexuality, he's going to largely hold the line. But both his chosen name and background suggest he'll fight for the poor specifically in oppressed communities which will put him directly at odds with Trump

Learned last night that we’re getting a Netflix miniseries on the Garfield assassination with Michael Shannon as Garfield and Nick Offerman as Chester A. Arthur, and how are we not all talking about this? www.netflix.com/tudum/articl...

Seems obvious what the Conclave was going for with Prevost. At a time when America lacks a moral compass and is withdrawing from the world, the fact that they picked an American who pretty clearly seems to take issue with Trump on a number of issues is by design
