Clash of the megalomaniacs!

It's not a mistake; it's a crime. Another crime in a lifetime of abuse of power and criminal behavior by malevolent sociopath Donald J. Trump.

It’s not about the culture war; that’s just a distraction. The real issue is the decades-long conservative strategy, starting with the 1971 Powell Memo, to let corporate power undermine democracy and co-opt the Democrats. This isn’t new, they tried the same playbook with FDR. Don't blame trans kids!

Democrats have no intention of fighting fascism. They don't serve their constituents. They serve their donors. The same billionaire donor class that the GOP does. Controlled op.

The establishment Democrats have no intention of fighting fascism, unless, of course, their billionaire fascist donors tell them to. They are the controlled opposition. The theater arts wing of the business party. The only party that exists in the United States.

This thing is like a cockroach. I was hoping to hear the last of him after the Sandy Hook court victory.

Sorry you perceive it that way. This is a social media post. It’s a public post. If your opinions are not up for debate, then I suggest you turn off comments.

I’m responding to your critique. If you’re too thin skinned to listen to another point of view that’s your issue, not mine. If you like Yoko, great! I don’t hate her, either. Just trying to get some perspective.

He loved his wife. It’s a great song, and I don’t doubt that his wife inspired him artistically.

Your list of 80’s artists all share one small Yoko affectation. The warbling vocalizations. Since most of these artists came of age in the 60s, they should have been well acquainted with freak out sounds from Captain Beefhart, Ornette Coleman, and beyond.

She wasn't a trailblazer—she didn't innovate or introduce new perspectives. As a banker's daughter embedded within the exclusive NY avant-garde scene, her work was derivative. Her acclaim among contrarian hipsters doesn't equate to genius.

James Taylor? Seriously? Sorry, it’s less edgy than punk, but Lennon was punk back in 1960. And what does Yoko sound like, Iggy Pop, John Cage? Yoko’s stuff sounds like bad overproduced disco.
comment in response to
post
Lennon’s stuff is informed by the music he loved. The rock and roll he grew up with in the 50’s. The only reason it sounds slick is the production choices that were in vogue at the time. Yoko is so discordant she defies production smoothing.

The fact that he's trying to say nationwide injunctions are unfairly used against Republicans when his own stupid fucking chart with only 4 names on it shows a Republican president with the fewest of them issued against him... I hate these fucking people so much.

Runaway-Hawley is sad that his criminal president might get equal treatment under the law. So was the SCOTUS. Why can't he just do whatever he wants with impunity?

Yep, Objectivity isn't about giving every view equal time; it's about being honest, evidence-based, and morally serious. Hard to do when you're owned by billionaires with vested interests. Trump is a malevolent sociopath. He is willfully ignorant, ill-informed, vindictive, bigoted, and xenophobic.

I propose we rename Trump Tower to TACO Stand. This infantile megalomaniac can rename everything he wants; it's meaningless. How about The Gulf Of Synaptic Response in the Trump Brain? Mount Short-Fingered Vulgarian? USS Pigs At The Trough?

You asked, “What traps did he leave in the government?” but never answered. DOGE infiltrated top-secret systems—what did he do with the stolen data? What surveillance did he set up? How did Musk erase lawsuits and secure shady contracts without Congress? We need answers.

No shit!

Poor little megalomaniac, neo-Nazi. His rocket blows up, his EV company is on the ropes, The NY Times calls him a drug addict, he gets punched in the eye, and he gets discarded like yesterday's news by the Trump regime. I guess being the wealthiest Lex Luthor wannabe isn't the key to happiness.

Americans are motivated by fear and greed. Pick one.

This is the United States. Land of willful ignorance. The Trump administration will find them. When you're looking to destroy the public sector and privatize, you need morons.
comment in response to

I believe there are many more who wish they could pick up and leave this vile, violent, ignorant place. I'm sorry for your trouble and pain. There are decent people here, but they are overwhelmed by those who live their lives controlled by fear and greed. I hope you find peace and contentment.

This harsh view reflects reality: Texas has pockets of education, but much of the state remains resistant to progress, fostering ignorance. Even Austin faces hate crimes, revealing systemic failures. The police’s inaction on homophobic violence shows deep neglect and complicity in sustaining hatred.

This is who they are. Morons with guns believing their ignorance is a gift from god. Another hate crime.

Who better to destroy another agency than a moron who doesn't have a clue? If you haven't picked up on the pattern by now, you're not paying attention. The wrecking ball is necessary to level the thing before privatizing it all. Don't tell Musk. He wants to crater Earth and start colonizing Mars.

Wow, do I actually agree with Bannon? Probably not. If he’s accusing Graham, it’s likely false. Still, I’d love to see that weasel Graham locked up. Bannon’s motives? Either blind loyalty to Trump (maybe) or a deeper alignment with Russia, given his admiration for creeps like Alexander Dugin.

Where does he find these people? Oh, yes. Never mind. The Republican Party! Of course!

BECAUSE THEY ARE THE CONTROLLED OPPOSITION!

That and being doxxed.
comment in response to

Absolutely, but the problem is that there is no federal law banning unidentified federal law enforcement officers during protests or public operations. Lots of bipartisan anti-Doxxing legislation floating around now, but precious little action on protecting people from the neo-Gestapo.

Jeffries is a useless waste of air. Let me translate. The answer is, we will do absolutely nothing, since we are the controlled opposition.
