Really sorry to hear about Peter David; his work with Star Trek was among the best of the '90s licensed material. I only met him once; it was when I would do part-time at the local comic shop for store credit.

Peter David wrote my first comic book. It was an issue of Hulk I saw on the spinner rack at the pharmacy with my mom, and I had to have it. Dale Keown’s amazing art won my young eyes over, but growing me loved his writing. Hulk, X-Factor, Spider-Man, Young Justice, all gems. RIP.

Peter David's wife is reporting that he passed away last night. A versatile writer of comics and prose who adapted well to many characters, he had been having severe health issues for a while. I am glad that he was around, and wish the best to those who knew him.

I don't know why, but a bunch of prominent left-wing politicians and influencers I follow suddenly weren't showing up, because they’d been added to a TERF blocklist I was using. Pro-tip; search for an account in browser and see if you accidentally blocked them, the app doesn't show anything.

If this happens, I’m not going to even hate watch it. I won’t share clips or watch reaction videos on YouTube. I will cancel any streaming service it appears on and escalate as far up in customer service as possible and tell them why.
