Your mobbing is totally effective. I will now rush to get an upzoning yard sign. Thanks for helping me right think. Complex issues with myriad unseen consequences and motivations are best communicated in a brief series of skeets.

Find a home they CAN AFFORD. Answering a survey in the hypothetical with an imaginary fantasy house in mind versus the 4plex unit that actually fits the budget? That's not exactly a rock solid projection. But yimbys will win this since admin is desperate for increased tax revenue from those 4plexes.

Where I work even less than 18% choose to join us living in A2 even though none are economically constrained in theory. Seems like we might be at equilibrium given Americans love of cheap space and commuting. And like you said, we can't make them.

That notion is copium. There will be no refuge. Only chaos, ecological collapse, and war. Sleep tight.

You're in a bubble. Maga landscapers/contractors with a yard full of trailers and machines in Gregory or Pinckney and a home shooting range out back wouldn't live in A2 if you paid them. To a significant extent "they" are correct.

Sadly, I think this applies to any power structure throughout time!

The EPA was founded with massive concessions to the chemical industry and that legacy has persisted, like their "amazing" products.

There should be a total ban on production. Another emerging issue will be all these bleach resistant (highly stable strongly polar) fragrances polluting surface and ground water through treatment plants and septics.

RCMP CFP approved the Turkish semi auto Alcor 223 after banning nearly every other semi auto. The Alcor takes an AR mag so a criminal could unpin a 30rd mag and have a high capacity no different than all the other banned (Canadian made) models. What's the point of this shell game they're playing?

Great Lakes are more likely to go the way of the Aral Sea, especially if the South & West US win the Great Water War. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

True. Also true is since much of the highly vulnerable population has already succumbed, it makes sense we would have a lower peak death rate going forward.

In Canada they're "rescuing" feral dogs from the far north. One of these unsocialized beast lunged at me and bit my wrist while I was portaging a canoe in a Provincial Park. People are desperate to feel righteous, but these animals need intensive training or should be culled for public safety.

Shipwrecks are prevented by improved science and technology and rigorous OSHA standards. All under attack while you're on a Up North vacation.

Hey, keep it down. I'm trying to irrupt in peace over here.

Many liberals have them and just keep it quiet due to stigma. There are some good people with military/govt training who won't roll over if/when American Taliban is unleashed.

Agreed about Canada also. Just renewed my PAL right after they banned my previously non restricted rifle that I keep, locked up, at camp for humanely dispatching the occasional sick/injured/threatening critter. They shouldn't be hassling responsible gun owners while calling for "elbows up".

You suck. Why don't they stop the illegal guns and fentanyl being smuggled INTO Canada from US?

Lists only works for me if i cross stuff off. I'll add things I already did to a new list solely for the gratification of immediately crossing it off.

That's easy. Because our leaders are racist, hegemonic, amoral assholes who own stock in bomb factories and want our own kids stupid, sick and powerless.

Don't forget the labor exploitation class warfare aspect of the wrecks. The shipping barrons ran the majority of those schooner barges literally until they sank, with no regard for the immigrant labor sailors.

Change it to "half-assed attempt to train their rescue dog.." and you'll probably capture a larger demographic.

But owning the Libs, priceless...
A majority of Republican voters are now responding to polls that COVID vaccines are more deadly than COVID itself. Macro-empirical research rolls right off them like water off a duck.

There was lake effect snow downwind of Lk Superior in March. Thanks to practically zero ice cover and ever rising internal temperature.

Yep. Plus he's just completely lacking any genuine civic ethos. He's a craven Harper stooge cynically exploiting the party of oil, racism, fundamentalist religion, and xenophobia for power and money. And that base of voters isn't going away no matter which psycho conman is the leader.

The line from trump to PP via Harper and IDU was clear for those interested. And they still got a hell of a lot of votes in defeat. Canada has a significant fascistic element that must be fought relentlessly.

And now AI is busy cross referencing all the databases doge violated to create targeting lists. They can't exile all of us, but snitch culture is going to be a great career opportunity for the minor machiavellian psychopaths among us.
