I'm re-reading The Da Vinci Code for reasons, but I'm really stuck by Dan Brown's writing. He keeps purposely teasing a big reveal and then moving onto the next scene. This works once in a story, maybe twice, but not every other chapter. It's just fucking annoying now....

I fell asleep before 9pm last night, although it was a very broken sleep (I always sleep badly when I'm flaring). Woke up at 5am with backache that may or may not be related to the arthritis. Hopefully I can work from home today, even if "home" is my sofa.
