Musician/writer/pop culture junkie. Probably way too invested in things. May contain traces of socialism.

Ursula von der Leyen invoking "respect for international law" is like a serial killer invoking absolute pacifism.

I see tons of USian accounts on here trying to make this a partisan issue. As if Republicans and Democrats alike haven't been foaming at the mouth with excitement, fantasizing about war with Iran for decades. Imagine getting this cucked by a two party system. Just no self-respect whatsoever.

"Final Destination Bloodlines" is the most fun I've had at a horror film in years. Cannot recommend this one enough.

the chatbots are fucking so many people up. it’s treated as funny or cringe in most cases now, but we’re going to look back in a few years and ask how we it happen — again. we never learn from past mistakes of buying into hype when the harms are right in front of our eyes if we care to see them.

Gab's das? Hab ich gar nicht gesehen. Die Militär-Hörigkeit von US-Amerikanern ist manchmal echt nicht zu glauben.

I often wonder if all of that fearmongering about cancel culture and disinformation is traditional media panicking, because they realize that they are losing hegemony or an elaborate story they tell themselves to lull themselves into believing that they are not.

I honestly think it's pathologic at this point. They've been running Israel's PR for decades and have become so used to being the only source of information that people have access to, that the mere thought of no longer being in control of the narrative never crossed their mind.

I have a soft spot for Terminator 3. No, it's not nearly as good as the first two, but there's some great action setpieces and I can't help but respect the commitment to the balls to the wall bleak ending.

Here's another, from his brilliantly insane and insanely brilliant opus magnum, that wasn't meant to be. youtu.be/YyfU2_2G11g?...

Ironically this is one of the only things AI can do. That doesn't mean it's good at it, but then again neither is he.

Der Kapitalismus “löst“ seine Grenzen autoritär, mit Aufrüstung nach außen und innen. Soziale Schieflagen (innen &außen/Ausbeutung) werden nicht korrigiert, sondern mit Gewalt in Schach gehalten.

Lol. Somehow missed that dev wearing a fake MAGA hat, chatting shit about other shooters. I was basically at a catatonic state at this point of the show. That's certainly one way to incinerate all good will for your game in an instant.

Cut out every poor man's Dark Souls, Destiny, Fortnite, Ark or Genshin clone and SGF would have been a lean 20 minutes.

Final Destination: Bloodlines Some dodgy CGI and overused needle drops notwithstanding: This is easily one of the best comedies of 2025, where every punchline is a ridiculously intricate Rube Goldberg machine of gruesome, irony-laced death. Sorry, no trailer this time, since they're very spoiler-y

That's what happens when you let the same companies that can't even get auto-correct to work reliably, tackle something a million times more complex.

They got a 16 year old Ron Howard to direct Apollo 13 and it was a disaster. It took him 25 years to complete the whole footage. But damn, was it great footage.

I didn't expect them to fix the self-important misery porn, handled with all the nuance of a sledgehammer to the face. But I had at least hoped, it would be better paced, since we don't have to stop after every plot beat, to shoot our way through 50 rooms with dudes to kill.
