Some dodgy CGI and overused needle drops notwithstanding: This is easily one of the best comedies of 2025, where every punchline is a ridiculously intricate Rube Goldberg machine of gruesome, irony-laced death.

They got a 16 year old Ron Howard to direct Apollo 13 and it was a disaster. It took him 25 years to complete the whole footage. But damn, was it great footage.

I didn't expect them to fix the self-important misery porn, handled with all the nuance of a sledgehammer to the face.
But I had at least hoped, it would be better paced, since we don't have to stop after every plot beat, to shoot our way through 50 rooms with dudes to kill.
