I should be appreciative, but it's a bit annoying, you know?

I never get any engagement on music posts, but Dile by Don Omar is nearly biggie status for me, but it's not respected because white suburban kids don't know Spanish.

It's like if everyone appreciated reggaeton, but thought funk was low class, so no one cared.

Wasn't it awful how this man was punished, we should make it worse in the future???
Seems like a bad argument!

Ya, I think behaviorism is stupid, but in this context it makes sense, at least as a simplification, to consider the fact that the thought *is* the behavior and the thought *is* altered as a consequence of tequila.

Also, an inhibiting thought is also a thought, and is often more powerful and indicative of character than a weird intrusive one.

People who are told what they did while blacked out do not often think "yes, this makes sense. These are my constant unfettered thoughts and desires."
They usually do things that are weird even to them.

There's also already pressure to not get health services in the military, and I don't imagine it would be good for readiness.

It was basically like "got milk ads" but for farms dealing with a corn glut making the corn non-perishable, instead of dairy farmers dealing with lost demand from the govt cheese program ending.

We had too much corn!

I give to panhandlers, but also I don't really understand the direct aid fetish. A good professional organization can use your dollars better and more equitably.

But its interesting that even after the WSJ stuck its neck out and published a huge report about this, giving cover to other outlets to talk about it by citing the WSJ, reporters at other outlets continued to insist Musk was acting normal and not high out of his fucking mind.

Maybe that shouldn't happen to teenagers who are trying to have fun with their friends.

That's not the same though. There are cis girl athletes who played basketball against Brittney Griner in high school. It's not the same as me playing against a guy with no legs.

You're not actually making any arguments

Why is it unfair if there are tall cis women?

Why should I care about the men's team when it's not about men's teams.

Why not

I bet you that there are more 6' cis girl athletes than 6' trans athletes

Ya I've seen a lot of stuff I wish I could help remove (pseudo-NFT scams, stuff that's essentially pro-Hitler), but they'll host it either way. I think they get paid a flat fee for hosting each game, so they are a bit disincentivized to remove stuff that is not monetized.

Not knocking the sentiment, but I have no idea why they added "neo" in there (pedantic)
comment in response to

Ah, damn. Makes it more difficult to affect I think, because I think Steam is stricter about removal than demonetization. I've seen games get delisted for violations that appear later as f2p so I was hoping that was the case.
comment in response to

I reported it today, but I also think people reporting won, bc it's free to play now, which can the result of being demonetized. Was it purchasable before?
comment in response to

Tbc, I use it too, occasionally. I just preferred when someone would say it and everyone knew the guy was a loser and would ridicule them, instead of everyone thinking "that guy knows Internet slang".
comment in response to

I just kinda wish people would stop picking up Internet slang from Nazis so they could be easier to identify and ridicule, but unfortunately a big post 2015 thing is that Nazi culture is culturally relevant.
comment in response to

The thing that I find annoying about it is that it was originally a bewildering insult thrown by Neo Nazis that had no impact and got them laughed at online until gaming culture started to pick it up. It was already absurd like 10 years ago. It shouldn't require decontextualization.

This is likely in their weird maoist discord logs, which we can't see, but you used to see it explicitly in r/altright before both it and the Trump sub got banned.

Iirc, Violent Femmes once played a show where all the stuff to cool the stage broke, and the temperature got up to like 120+ degrees from the lights. Can't find the recording though.
