Mom’s watching Let’s Make a Deal and 3 of a Kind (for a car) is so deceptive. Sample size of 3 from 6 = 20 combos w/ 2 win combos = 10% odds. But you’ll ALWAYS get 2 of a kind. And they’ll ALWAYS reveal the 2 of a kind you DIDN’T pick before offering a deal. So it feels like 50/50 odds but it’s not.

Hmm. Stranger Things Season 5 is coming in November. I cancelled Netflix 3 years ago (after Season 4… which I thought wasn’t great TBH). Not sure if I’ll resubscribe to finish the series. Also the kids are probably all like… in a senior’s home by now right? 😂

I have a friend who is an exvangelical and she put it very succinctly: “We don’t believe anyone else is human. You are not people to us.” Once you understand this CORE BELIEF and put it into context with the fact that these folks are running our country you can understand clearly their motivations.
