This is the main image Friends of Spruce and Pine has on their homepage: a car turning into a bike lane (that is filled with vehicles thanks to the illegal loading) while a child on a bike tries to cross the street. They are suing the city for adding loading zones and improving bike safety.

No, it's not hard to go out and buy native seed packs... after you research what's native (actually native, not just commonly found after being introduced), what's easy to grow (no cold stratification required), find a shop with your local ecotype, etc. This project has done that work for you! 🙌

A teacher emailed me & said "My scientist didn't reply to me. My scientists ALWAYS reply to me! What the heck!". I was like "Well. Science is kinda crumbling. Friends/colleagues are losing their jobs or at least funding, & some are being told to cease all outside communications". She hadn't heard.
