I don't disagree with either point here, but a) I'm fucking sick of managing cis male resentment at the peril of the collapse of society, and b) as gays who remember the 80s & 90s I think it's our duty to center to today's queers that the threat Pride pushes back on is to our COLLECTIVE survival

That feels like a perhaps overly-charitable read but I will make space for it as a possibility 🤔 I would have a lot of suggestions for decentering gay men from Pride before I ever got to "here's your own flag to call even more attention to yourself" but tbh, I could see it.
