@futurebird yes it took me a super long time to realize that most people use pinterest as a content aggregator to share pictures from random websites rather than actually making anything themselves

@cassem Even if I did subconsciously judge my own emotions or myself for feeling this way, it's not like by choosing to avoid said judgment, I'll automatically feel better. How I perceive myself, or any part of it, does not necessarily always impact how I manage my emotions.

I am in no way implying that boosting is inherently less valuable than creating original content. But it's kind of disappointing when I come across a profile I really like and think might be interesting only to find that all they do is repost/boost other people's posts.

it's awful to see people joke about their own weak points like it doesn't matter instead of actively trying their best to improve them or at least something to that effect. even worse when they mock you for not going along with the joke
