From the article, there are some other indicators that Christian music is on the rise (people in the industry seem to think it is) due to the influence of streaming services able to reach out to niche audiences.

Anyhoo, it deeply annoys me and sort of confounds me that people just gave up on trying to avoid spoilers. Even weirder—and to be honest, a bit psychopathic—that they started to blame people who don't watch X thing RIGHT AWAY for being spoiled.

Also it's never some deep discussion that spoils it, it's always a tweet like "Wow i cannot believe X is dead." I never understand why people act like you are infringing on critical discussion or whatnot by not spoiling things.
