The streets are quite flooded in Longmont. Flash flood concerns? Is Boulder getting a serious dump of water?

ā€œZionists wanted to create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible.ā€ As a native American, of course I would be against colonization. Many atrocities were committed in the name of ā€˜manifest destinyā€˜ Zionism obviously seems unethical.

ā€œZionism is an ethnocultural nationalist movement that emerged in Europe in the late 19th century that aimed to establish a national home for the Jewish people, pursued through the šŸ’¢colonization of PalestinešŸ’¢, a region roughly corresponding to the Land of Israel in Judaism. ā€œ

I sense much hatred in you. Seems like Israel will be in perpetual conflict with attitudes like that. Israelis don’t seem to be peacemakers All this death and destruction over real estate and mythologies. Shameful.

Looks pretty white to me. Read as white. Treated as white. It’s very simple.

Such a bizarre and tragic turn of events. What was supposed to be even accomplished? Hate to just Breeds hate. Peaceful #People don’t deserve this kind of treatment, especially if they’re on the other side of the planet from the conflict in #Israel/Palestine. Sad start to the #Month of May. #CO

Please stop fomenting additional discord and tribalism. Your words do nothing but create more hatred. Learn to de-escalate and encourage sensitivity and empathy in #people. We need more love ā¤ļø in the world not your polarizing words. #Boulder #Colorado #Attack #Terrorism #Israel #month

Why is the perpetrator just standing there shirtless?!? 🫢 You can hear children screaming in horror and elderly women writhing in pain with freshly burned flesh.😱 5 people have sustained burns, with 1 or 2 of those in a serious condition in hospital. #Boulder #Colorado #Terrorism #Attack #USA #CO

We are dealing with a tragedy on Pearl Street. Ethnic hatred. Elderly burned alive.

Now we have to deal with ethnic hatred on Pearl Street. Why can’t we just have peace already.

Thank you for sharing. This is shocking. Why can’t we just live in peace. ā˜®ļø

I’m desperate to know what tomorrow morning is gonna be like. I really wanted there to be sunshine. I’m glad for the moisture. Keeps things green. Less anxiety for fires.

I keep checking YouTube, but it doesn’t seem to be started yet. I’m on mountain time.

The police in Britain don’t even carry guns. But tell yourself, whatever you need to excuse oppression and the violation of human rights. You and Syril would be friends.

Using Imperial Might to take land and resources from the vulnerable. Using superior military technology and manipulative tactics to achieve the expansion of empire. Timeless human strife. Merciless violence against each other for power and property. Meaninglesstragic bloodshed. And for what?

They sure look like imperial storm troopers to me. …And the rest of the world.

I’m at Village at the Peaks in Longmont and it’s mostly big raindrops, but it was sleet for a moment. Is sleet a thing?

Love the picture of the sunset. Thanks for sharing. Only about six weeks left of winter. Probably not as much sunshine as Hawaii, but brighter days are not far off.

Silo and Slow Horses are really good. Plus there’s a Scorsese film called Killers of the Flower Moon that’s excellent. Severance is such a good mystery show. So much fun. Great sci-fi.

This guy is in shock. I wish she had friends and family with him there. I wonder if we’ll get an update.

ā€œAll 64 people aboard an American Airlines jet that collided with an Army helicopter were feared dead in what was likely to be the worst U.S. aviation disaster in almost a quarter century, officials said Thursday.ā€ ā€œAt least 28 bodies have been pulled from the icy waters of the Potomac River.ā€

Remember that the last time there was a commercial airline crash in the United States was in 2009. Since 2009, there have been over 150 million commercial flights in the United States alone, and not one crash until tonight. Commercial air travel is the safest mode of transportation.

Agreed. It would be a relief if there was a clear-cut path to responsibility/blame. Seems like we’re in an age where incompetence and injustice get a free pass.

I have yet to see concrete evidence that the removal of those safeguards are responsible for this incident. That may very well proved to be the case. Sometimes things aren’t always so simple though. Many are eager to blame this on the administration. Let’s hope the evidence is real and true.
