That means your favorite hiking trails, campsites, and wild places could be sold off to the highest bidder. Tell your Senators to REMOVE this dangerous provision!

"Don't panic and don't talk", sage advice from my personal attorney.

It is not an either or situation. There are tons of things you can do.
Please look for local groups who are doing things and join them.

It depends on your wallet, your connections, the color of your skin and the quality of legal help you can afford.
1. Lots of money 2. friends in high places 3. white. 4. the best defense lawyers money can buy.
Otherwise, do not try this at home. The results are disastrous.

It ought to be painfully clear to everyone by now that there's no longer any justice in the system unless you can afford to buy it.

Anti-Trumpers: Do not carry a gun. Do not point a gun. Do not shoot a gun.
A close relative of mine recently lost his life savings to defense lawyers and only missed going to prison by a hair. Jury convicted him. His crime? POINTING a gun at someone who boxed him in and threatened him with fists.

My fav piece of NM history. New Mexicans are built different.

Riley's right.
Here in New Mexico we have a long history of people being slaves one day and US Cavalry the next, outlaws one day and carrying a badge the next, Apache raiders one day and Medal of Honor heroes the next.
So people claiming to be law officers need to identify themselves properly.

Agreed. Plus it's unhelpful for top officials like Sec Def Hegseth to teach that lethality is more important than diplomacy in any type of conflict, and FBI Director Patel strongly suggesting that Trump's political opponents should have their heads chainsawed off for promoting progressive policies.

So true! As someone with decades of experience in protesting and political activism both in New York and Portland Oregon my advice is to get the proper training for nonviolent struggle. When they put you in the system your rights are severely compromised! music.youtube.com/watch?v=1EKC...

Cops are cowards and bullies who would never put themselves in that much real danger.

Yeah, the cops and their friends will fuck with you for life even when you are justified. They don't care. They are an organized crime syndicate. They'll do whatever they want.

Breonna's case demonstrates the problem:
you may survive shooting at the cops
you may even beat charges against you
but bystanders might die
(sadly, though, that's true whenever the cops are involved)

It's almost as if cops lie. So even if you live they will all swear in court that they identified themselves.
Sure sometimes we get reform like banning jumpouts, which is what some of these are, but always after enough people die.

I don't normally call the cops for anything but I might make an exception in that case. I'll simply report what I see: Armed, masked, unidentified thugs grabbing someone.

After the MN assassinations, ICE rolling around like they do is insane. It’s not even people on this site, the proliferation of guns in this country and the fear gripping it are gonna lead to really bad outcomes
