Hierarchical file trees expand left to right though. Is it better to have a tree on the left squeeze the code pane to the right, or a tree on the right whose leaves are pushing off the right side of the screen and widening towards the left?

A wiki I run is constantly hit by Scrapy. Did whack-a-mole with iptables at the /16 or /24 level for several months. Now, Scrapy visits twice a month in one hour surprise raids that are over before I wake up. At least now the effect on bandwidth is contained, if still annoying.

I'm all for a weekly wait (I retain nothing from old seasons if I binge a show too quickly) -- I just feel like 20 minutes is more conducive to a sitcom than a serial. A new episode of Scrubs in 2001 was short but complete. Murderbot feels more like a continuous thread, constantly interrupted.

I like 3 but with a bit more space across the wall. Runner-up: 4 5 looks too tight and grid-y.

"Translating your ideas into something others can engage with is part of the work. It's not just about making things look good, it's about deciding what deserves emphasis, what can be left out, how tone and structure shape understanding." Love this and wholeheartedly agree!

"If you’re told you have to do a code review, it’s never a fun part of the job. When you’re working with these tools, it’s most of the job.” Truth!

Not as familiar with Riemann, but I recall doing a study and presentation on Moritz Hauptmann's "The Nature of Harmony and Metre" in grad school. Interesting ideas, but I felt like it tried too hard to fit every single aspect of music into nice, neat boxes.
