Just a guy who's not happy with the direction of our government.
If you follow me, expect a lot of politics. I do be saying things. I think I'm funny at least.

Pride month is going to have a whole new meaning in the future if these fascists have it their way.

Don't forget that this guy thinks that he can't survive off of a $174k salary and that insider trading is fine for elected officials to engage in.
Do you think you could make it on $174,000 /yr?

Mark My Words: Trump and his press will use RSVP numbers to pump up the excitement for his Kim Jong-Unesque parade. "Millions are coming to DC to show appreciation for Donald Trump."

His coin is a vehicle for bribes.
You want favor with the President? Buy his coin. You want his ear? Be one of the 200 people holding the most of his coin.

Different things being affected matter to different people.
One group of peoples may not care so much about their 401K, rent, utilities, commodity foods, etc... but will be pissed about having to pay more for an Xbox... Maybe you're not the target audience for a post like this.

"90 deals in 75 days is possible."
"90 deals in 40 days is possible."
"90 deals in 14 days is possible."
"90 deals done by tomorrow is possible."
"Deals take time... No one really thought that 90 days was enough time to make 90 deals."

I dunno... Just because he's an expert in the banking field doesn't mean he's shady.
For much of the last 20 years, he's been in civil service, on the government side of finance. I think we're all a little pessimistic right now, but I don't think Carney should be the target of any of it.

A company's top earning position should be tied to its lowest earning positions... The only way for a CEO to earn more is to give to their employees first.

It's always been about us vs. them. They've just split "us" in two and pitted us against eachother. 🤷

Can't wait to see the Sheriff catch heat as well...
He was not in his official capacity and his intervention against someone asserting their first amendment rights in a public forum was illegal.

Believing that the government would take in as much from tariffs as they do from federal taxes was ridiculous to being with. The math was NEVER there.
If our economic policy decision makers are experts in their fields, then Bluesky is full of master economists because we all saw this coming.

I'm sure that, in the future, we'll better categorize what we call autism today. 30 years ago, I was just a timid, quiet child. Had I been born today, I'd probably be diagnosed with some kind of autism.
comment in response to

Autism rates have risen because it's more recognized. "Autism" is a catch-all for a wide spectrum of symptoms/indicators/whatever you want to call them.
If we discover a new illness today, of course there are going to be more cases tomorrow. That's how it works. RFK's brain worm needs to be studied.

Hey @marcelias.bsky.social, I was wondering what your input on this would be. What authority can we rely on? Who would act on orders against the Trump administration?
Assuming the DoJ orders Marshalls to stand down on potential warrants, what is our recourse? Citizens? US Military?
comment in response to

Capital police, in my view, are the last force possible. As I understand it, they're accountable to the Congressional Sergeant-at-Arms... But that would require Congress to act.
😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
comment in response to

What's that? They US Marshalls are accountable to the DoJ? Pam Bondi's their boss?
Who do we call instead? I could be wrong, but I think SCOTUS' police force only has jurisdiction within the courthouse. Local police don't have jurisdiction in federal matters.

So a trans woman in a woman's sport should have a 100% win record, as transphobic people would have you believe. Surely, it would be unfair for a man to beat on a woman, right?
That's not what her record shows. Too bad evidence and facts don't matter anymore.
