My Mum was too timid to update her iPad software regularly and eventually managed to get herself locked out from access to her collection of family photos stored on the device. Apple refused to help unlock it (decryption) and blamed me for not looking after my mum properly. Which was nice of them.

It shouldn’t be making decisions on incidents that are undetectable to the naked eye or which take longer than 3 minutes to adjudicate on.

Your colleague, Jonathan Wilson, wrote an excellent piece about how Arsenal contributed to their own downfall with several dismissals, Barry. Inconsistencies in how our top refs and VAR apply the laws is baffling and bloody annoying though. Referee Mr Oliver should have stopped play straight away.

It cannot be right in a society where we are encouraged/obliged to contribute to a pension all our working life only to find the cost of residential healthcare for dementia sufferers and the like is beyond the means of most sufferers and their families. It is flawed, immoral and fundamentally wrong.
