Although targeted actions to remove dangerous and violent criminals can be appropriate, we must protect law-abiding working families with smart, strategic, and peaceful actions.

Its decision to mobilize the National Guard, without the request of local officials, is an attempt to provoke violent confrontations and invoke the Insurrection Act. This appears to be another effort to go after law-abiding immigrants without due process.

We must speak out, stand up, and ensure that antisemitism is confronted wherever it manifests and that those who commit such acts are held fully accountable.

In 2024, there were more than 9,300 antisemitic incidents. That’s a 344% increase over the past five years and an 893% increase over the past decade. Our neighbors, friends, and fellow Americans are being targeted simply for being Jewish.

From potentially life-altering cases like Cliona’s to lost passports, I’m here to be your advocate when it comes to issues with the federal government. No matter the Administration, no matter the circumstances, I will always do my best to work for you.

I kept the pressure on the Administration, coordinated with her exceptional legal team, and ensured her story was told. Cliona was ultimately released and returned to her family. Standing up for fairness, for due process, and for our community is core to my service for the people of CA-19.

I was proud to be on the Amicus brief for this case. As we move forward in our fight, the legislative branch must, now more than ever, reassert our Constitutional authority.
