Alf Clausen died a couple of days ago. Even if you don’t know his name, you’ve probably heard his music. He may not have written the theme song (props to Danny Elfman for that), but he wrote virtually everything else you’ve heard in Springfield. Rest easy maestro, and thanks for the music. 🎶

We adopted Akela in October 2024, and she’s been a wonderful dog. But she’s been seeming a bit depressed lately. The cats want nothing to do with her, and we think she’s been lonely. So we did what any responsible pet owners would do. We got her a puppy. Meet Ripley, a 12-week old retriever mix.
