Surely one of the best pop songs of all time? Surpassed only by "Witchita Lineman" perhaps.

Glad to hear it. I really admire Kate Winslet, so great to hear her daughter is carrying on the good work.

What did you think of Mia Threapleton? Does she bear comparison with her mum?

Rather jealous. I've never been (it's the camping that puts me off), and the programme always looks fascinating.

I still maintain they should have used David Prowse's real voice.

Agreed. It's just that I wonder about this in view of the debates around a lot of artefacts in the BM.

I read about that this week. I thought it raised an interesting question about if it should have been allowed to leave the UK.

I think Andy Stanton wrote a book about his experience of using AI to write a novel. Was interesting and amusing.

I thought that the tariffs Trump has applied to all films made outside the US is a case in point. Making access to other cultures and other viewpoints more difficult is so on brand and such a philistine thing to do.

It is heartening in so far that it shows the anti-Trump vote to be the most significant issue on the table right now.
comment in response to

I wonder if the issue is that, depressingly, Reform voters ensure they vote, whereas support for other parties is more apathetic. Hence all the parties chasing this core group of older voters who will definitely make it to the polling station.

Trump won it for Carney I think.
