Personally, think it’s a signing to fit the club strategy rather than an immediate solution to a serious problem. It’s clear the sporting directors want a young team that will grow together rather than shipping in a 26 yo that scores a goal per game such as Gyokeres (who was anonymous v Arsenal).

Usual stuff at the ground though… few food kiosks and only beer was 0% alcohol (not that I drink anyway) whilst VIPs could drink wine in their seats.
Lidl was giving away free fresh fruit so there was a bonus!

I was on a tram to the ground with 90% Betis fans and not one bit of idiocy… not even an anti-Chelsea song. Inside the stadium the fans mixed with no issues either despite a proper lack of segregation.

In his autobiography Greaves stated his agent lied and said he was staying in the UK (from memory). So Jimmy was deliberately late for training in Italy… think his wife gave birth around the time too so he sort of had a valid excuse. What a shame he had to be sold.
