Do you think he really believes Americans paying taxes on imports creates balanced trade? At times like this it's helpful to remember that 50% of people have an IQ below 100.

But what if we zoom out? I heard if we zoom out the numbers go up.

Oh right. The billionaires want uneducated laborers for their factories. This is straight out of Oliver Twist.

They have no interest in bringing good jobs to the US. This is all a show of force to compel captains of industry to travel to mar a lago to bend the knee.

No one born in this country wants those jobs. If it were to happen, incarcerated labor and high school dropouts would be holding the tiny screwdrivers.

Given who is at the helm, maybe it's for the best the world doesn't get exposed to"US propaganda"

Isn't that textbook fascism?

Mearsheimer's pov is basically, "I believe Putin." This is not a rigorous academic mind.

I know we all enjoy the sight of seeing one person stand up for themselves, but I am concerned about how far Trump will go to retaliate. He's like that boy from the Twilight Zone who sent people to the cornfield in another dimension. I sincerely hope the EU is ready to back Ukraine all the way.

I'm not buying this idea that he's "fed up with all of the shenanigans" with this administration. He knew who he would be working for and is as complicit as anyone.

It's great that you're gaining traction! How do you plan to expand your reach on original reporting? People would pay for this kind of independent journalism.

I think I speak for everyone when I say your account should be devoted to Reacher hot takes until Alan Ritchson announces he will run for office.

I want to share this with a friend. Can you provide the source? I'm also looking for the same data over time to show the trend.

I'm starting to think the whole "resign in protest" thing isn't all it's cracked up to be.

They wouldn't. Also the answers are often riddled with errors. This is not the way.

@rbreich.bsky.social of money is power and these few have much more that they can afford to invest in buying more power, how do we fight back? Who are the billionaires willing to join the right side of history?

It's easy to jump on this news and celebrate, but consider the possibility that the site exists to be a megaphone for propaganda and is funded by those who think that's a good investment.

I've concluded power is the only reality. There is no "winning the argument." We need to pool resources and elect a congress that will push back against an executive branch acting in the interests of the already powerful. Money is the universal language of politics now. Let's invest.

The actions of the current administration and their well-heeled backers are alarming, but what I find most irritating is that we progressives are being bested by pretenders.
