Everyone clearly too terrified of his parents and their connections to speak out

‘The Danish lad from Brentford’ - like a modern day version of Bobby Robson allegedly gassing up Jason Euell and his transfer peoples misunderstanding and buying him Carl Cort instead

Oh yeah, 100%. Was purely commenting on people online moaning about the lack of crowd reaction.
‘Hey guys, I like this band. You may know them. And I wanna play something slightly different from the normal setlist for you’ is absolutely fair enough from her, imo.

If you're a teenybopper and yer ma has bought you a ticket so you can both sing along to Vampire, Deja Vu, or the one that rips off Paramore, how well versed are you gonna be in Irish history, geopolitics, the gall of Fine Gael and the fail of Fianna Fáil etc?

tbf my recollection of that January is somewhat hazy given the winter world cup, leading nicely into Christmas drinking, and then back into Spurs (a) Utd (h) and City (a) in the cup in the 2nd half of January after a brief 2 weeks of sobriety and saving money.

Given how Arteta treated Lokonga through his understandable growing pains, in a season that was essentially a free hit compared to the understandable weight of expectation to Win Now now, I'm completely cool with it.
Grizzled vet 6 to spell a young upside 6 is the way to go under this manager.

I may be remembering wrong, but weren’t there a couple of loose links earlier that summer? Or was the first mention of Hollister Cal from that Irish bloke who mentioned the medical on the Friday afternoon? My timelines of that summer are out of kilter

Forgot about him. A lovely addition at the end of January after that Santos horrorshow vs Liverpool (h) 2-2.
Just shows the impact of effective scouting and everyone at the club keeping their gobs shut.
Meanwhile, you had Crössy out there advocating for Stephen Warnock and a washed Riise

As for Thomas. Have no idea whose call it was to manage this the way they have. Inclined to think it was a club decision rather than Mikey. Thank fuck he wasn’t extended, just a shame we’ll remember that we actually tried to do the deed

A club has a duty of care to all of its employees and it represents its fanbase. And this club has utterly failed on both fronts.

We tried to have a young, up and coming number six cover in Sambi Lokonga and it didn't work. It's a difficult position for a young player playing infrequently to learn. That said, haven't paid enough attention to Norgaard specifically to say whether he is a good target.

It's 6-5 and he's just scored his fourth, one of the others was a rebound after he hit the post with a free-kick, you need to find yourself the highlights.

I don’t think any of them are clearly a better option. Martinelli just needs to be allowed to be a bit more free in his attacking and he’d excel. We’ve taken the chaos out of his play.

Speak for yourself. I’m gonna be in the garden, welcoming the rain, like Andy Dufresne when he escapes Shawshank
