I suggest the guy changes the name of his business to McDonalds Pets instead 😉 Difficult to know if he is infringing trademark protection, simply using the word boss in itself cannot, it has to be similar design or font surely.

Think you'll be waiting a long time for the police to take action.

To be fair I can understand why they are not trying to get it through right now. It would only add to the alleged anti-farming policies. I think and certainly hope they go through with it, bear in mind they still have 4 years to get it done.

This is US Army? Looks like something from a 3rd world country (with apologies to 3rd world countries who would put on a better show). Is it for a remake of Kelly's Heroes?

I know. It was just a figure of speech.

Note the story also of the 'escapee' from a Mitie deportation flight at Heathrow. No one mentions it but I suspect he was not the only passenger on that flight. And they weren't heading for Rwanda either.

Let's hope he is never ever in the driver's seat, or even a front seat passenger.

I think sensible Brits already do.

Don't think this was directed at Trump. One of his deranged Cabinet members apparently.

Don't think there will be anything to stop you opting in and making donations.

It's not a U-turn !!!!!

Sinn Fein has 7MPs, albeit abstainers, I suspect we won't be getting much appealing to their voters. Don't even see much support for the LDs or SNP for that matter.

Apparently there will be an option to opt out.

It's not a U-turn. A U-turn would be going back to exactly as it was before. At best it's a sharp left turn.

Have never seen a burqa being worn anywhere near where I live. I suspect (without evidence) that this would be true in places such as Saffron Walden and Clacton. I do see a lot of people wearing masks in supermarkets and the like.

I read elsewhere that pensioners will be able to opt out of the payment, primarily to avoid the hassle of having to repay through the tax system, but also useful for conscientious people who know they don't actually need the payment. Guess we'll have to wait for the details.

Well at the very least their VAT receipts are higher (even at 5% rate).

She requires people attending surgeries to remove balaclavas as well. Seriously is it really a thing wearing a balaclava to a surgery in Saffron Walden, or wearing a burqa for that matter. Just saying something for effect when it is not even an issue. She is the absolute pits.

More media publicity for Racists plc. BBC headlining this non event.

More media publicity for Reform plc. The BBC were quick to promote a positive message for Reform again.

BBC pushing Reform agenda again. The bias to Reform is so blatant now, and no one seems able or willing to do anything about it. At least the BBC have realised the Tories are dead ducks.

Is Farage killing off the Tories or are the Tories just doing it themselves?

People lying on the census about their religion, tens of thousands of Christians in Runcorn, having a laugh. Check out how many attend church.

So, if I read this right, this is stopping checks that have not yet been implemented from being implemented. So this will not reduce current prices? Still a positive but maybe not quite what is being claimed.

Reform do not like scrutiny, and Anderson likes it less than anyone. Any form of scrutiny shows them for what they are. No policies, no principles, no scruples. Terrified the public may actually see them for what they are.

Triple lock is not "above inflation", unless CPI and average earnings (wage inflation) are both less than 2.5%. Surprised there is only one Reform "policy" you agree with, that is why it is populism. Reform doesn't actually have policies, it just reacts to opposition policies it sees as unpopular.

What I don't understand is why Farage wasn't prosecuted as well.

VED is not a road tax. It is a vehicle tax and is not ringfenced.
comment in response to

Why is this a bad idea. Huge number of pensioners already pay tax. By incorporating the WFP as a one-off to the State Pension it would remove the need to pay the WFP each year which must have an extraordinary cost.

They don't have policies, they just oppose everything. All they say is they rip up this agreement or that agreement or will reverse something. They do not have any idea what they would actually do.

Accused of being a joke and a clown.... by the Tories. The irony. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

They should co-opt the candidate that was runner-up in the election. This should be standard practice when anyone fails to take up their elected post.

The huge difference is that these would be failed asylum seekers, whereas Tory policy was to send them before any processing (and incidentally take Rwandan asylum seekers in return). The two ideas are as different as chalk and cheese.

So he was selected as a Tory candidate AFTER the alleged events. Says a lot for Tory Party vetting procedures. A potential by-election in prime Reform territory.

Would be better if they dismissed all the Tory MPs and Councillors who make up the Board, and also sacked the Tory/Reform mouthpieces, aka Laura K, Mason and so on. They could save a fortune.
