Really? I totally missed that, I remember reading you had to buy it again. If that was fake news that might change my opinion!

Yeah I get that, but having to pay a higher price than I paid for the original instead of an upgrade price like how Playstation does it is a bit of a turn off for me.

First you need to rebuild your blog, that's how a real developer does it!

I think the only places where you will push these machines is when running tests, so maybe the M4 Max with more cores is better? That's if you are levaraging parallel tests ofcourse.

I made a little POC of something like that so I could toy a bit with Flux when that came out. Really barebones and rough under the hood, but I still think it could be something usefull.

Nothing to complain, but itβs mainly a backup solution for me so it wouldnβt be much of an issue anyway.

I have heard goot things about Flutter. Not sure if it would solve my problems, but I would look into it if I was to start over.

I use React Native. It's nice when all goes well but now and then you have to go into the native dependency layer (Pods/Gradle) to resolve issues and that's no fun. The third party packages ecosystem also feels a bit like the wild west. Some gems, some crap and too many breaking changes too often.

Not going to lie, first part of your talk I was "where is this going?!" but when I finally got it I started to see so many possibilities π Great talk!
