Ogre Battle 64?
Maybe just the game most people missed as it was on a console that didn’t really have any RPGs.

Happy birthday!

I second this… because I never played it and really want to. I do have it on GameCube… but just remake it or bring it to Switch Online at this point.

Beautiful!

Yeah, you gotta use gear to prevent status stuff late game or you get pinned down pretty good. I find X combat to be slow, which is a bit frustrating, and the speed QOL features make the game feel unnatural so I don’t like to use them the whole game… but I tend to now in it lol.

I’m the opposite. It was the first final fantasy (not including X-2), that o was definitely not a fan of. Replayed it a few years ago and it’s one of my faves now.

Yay! Such a fun set! I’m gonna try and collect the set. Might start a binder tonight.

I am very excited to play that one, but haven’t got to it yet.

This is so unexpected and devastating. She was a force on those shows, but also always a lot of fun.

NA. Pretty sure a super charger would blow the engine up. Transmission definitely couldn’t handle it.

I think it’s a necessity to be honest. One of their biggest games ever, still perhaps the highest rated game of all time I think? And it would appease players who are hoping for a 3D Zelda experience that is more traditional than BotW and TotK.

Oh same lol, I love that one.

I first played FF7 on PC… one that couldn’t handle it very well… most of the game was fine, but chocobo races basically ran in slow motion… it was a nightmare lol.

I always hear people say that but even on my most recent replay I think I got through it on my first or second try. After not playing it for a few years.
Chocobo racing in 7 isn’t so bad now because you can speed it up.

Chocobo race from what I remember is pretty easy… at least what it makes you do.
Blitzball is easy too but it’s slooooow, and annoying.

Nothing is worse than Blitzball. But yeah, OG 7, and 9 were kinda riddled with brutal mini games.
comment in response to

I actually enjoyed the mini games, which is odd because I usually hate them, and I also avoid most side content in games.

It’s definitely not game changing, but it’s better. I could also be misreading it a little, with hopeful optimism.

Haha oh man, I just played the original for the first time because I didn’t think this was happening after they jumped right to SH2

I’ve got through all but on persons 3rd chapter, and part of that is that I feel like the end is going to be handled a certain way this time… I can’t explain why though as it could be a spoiler. It’s the reason why I feel that way though.

I feel like this one improves it in a lot of ways although… some of the base jobs feel kinda… not useful lol. I could be using them wrong though. It does feel like they are doing a better job of creating a more cohesive adventure this time, among the travellers. The music is just as good here.

Man PS2 was so special. I’ve been a Nintendo kid my whole life, and this thing was a home run. A grand slam actually.

Yep. Every ten years or so I buy a PC and I’m like… now is the time. It’s never actually the time though.

Glad you enjoyed it. I’ll definitely buy it again if it comes to Switch 2.

Yeah, 5 wasn’t scary, but had a great rhythm. Real good pacing and action.

This is actually one I don’t think I’ve thought of much… I feel like mine and your list is similar though, except I loved 5, and I never finished Code Veronica (too tough for me!).
