If I knew tariffs were dropping at 2PM then I’d be buying up all morning. Then when tariffs are going to be put back on because of X made up bad thing I will sell just before the scheduled announcement. Repeat ad nauseam.

You can't magically go back to a manufacturing economy. It's 2024, the jobs are mostly automated. You aren't bringing people out rural poverty with it. So you get fewer jobs, less money, and more expensive goods. There's no vision to articulate because nothing good happens.
