I always like to say to people, imagine if we judged Natalie Portman's worth as an actress on her line-readings in "Revenge of the Sith". Gems like "No, it's because I'M so in love with YOU".

Eh, I still think the writing gets the bulk of the blame. I think the prequels had a solid story - the bullet points on the rise of fascism was there, but unlike the OT, Lucas didn't let anyone help with the screenplays, too many "yes men". Too bad he didn't get Carrie as a scriptdoctor...

Once the multiverse became a thing, and all the stakes disappeared, I kinda stopped caring. I think the writing of Wanda on Dr. Strange 2 kinda killed any optimism I had that they could keep any sense of cohesion in the franchise.

For the record, I'm against Israeli settlements in the West Bank. They are provocative, unnecessary, and work against the mentality of peace.
But to disregard the actual history and legalities of the situation to paint a one-sided, biased view of a complex situation is also working against peace.
